Coaches Across Continents are a non-profit organisation who run soccer for social impact programs globally. In 2013 we are on target to run 50 programs in 20 countries across 4 continents which impact over 175,000 children. In 2013, we began a Community Impact Coach project which targets locally owned sustainability by empowering local coaches to become community leaders and improve self esteem and employability.

2. FACT: 14 CIC’s have been or
will be on the field in 2013!

3. FACT: We received interest from
60% of the countries we work in!

4. FACT: Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Uganda,
India, Kenya, South Africa and Ghana
have all benefitted from CIC’s.

5. FACT: 57,599 children have already
been impacted by our CIC’s.

6. Nico Achimpota, Tanzania: ‘It
helped me because now I can use
that curriculum in my coaching
career when I am back in Tanzania.
Now it is easy to develop that
curriculum in my country in the four
districts where I am.’

Uganda: ‘I learnt how to
teach children how to
solve their problems while
gaining the ability to
express myself positively. ’

8. Salim Blanden, Uganda: ‘I was
given a chance to teach other
coaches and that gave me self
esteem. I learnt how to become a
good leader through using soccer
as a tool.’

9. Charles Otieno, Kenya: ‘The
program boosted my CV, I can now
create social impact games and
messages through football that can
be used with my organisation.’

10. We believe that this initiative
will continue to grow and
ensure the long term
sustainability of the CAC
curriculum benefitting many
local communities using football
for social impact.
