This document provides specifications and dimensions for thrust restraint details for water main pipelines. It includes tables with the minimum restrained lengths of pipe and dimensions for thrust blocks and retainer glands for various pipe sizes and fittings. Notes provide additional guidance on determining required restraint sizes for non-standard conditions, approved restraint methods, concrete placement, and other construction requirements.
