Dear Evesham Algebra Students and their Parents/Guardians:
By now you should have received a letter in the mail from our district describing the New Jersey State
Algebra 1 End of Course Assessment to be taken on May 23rd by all Algebra students. Due to this
assessment, all Algebra students will complete a final project that replaces the typical final exam
and the final exam grade. This final project was developed in collaboration with the Lenape
Regional High School District who is also utilizing the project in lieu of the final exam. Each Algebra
teacher will be going over the project in detail with their students. Although students will be given
time in class to work on this project, it may also be necessary for them to work on the project outside
of class.
Parents/guardians, if you have any questions about this project, please contact your child’s Algebra
teacher. Thank you for your support in making this final project successful for all our students.
