A brief for my A2 Media Studies

BRIEF

2. WHAT I WILL DO (RESEARCH)
• For starters, I will be making a presentation of what
a short film is. This will be useful as it will introduce
people to the subject matter of the blog.
I will be doing a series of analysis videos of short
films, official and indie.
I get a selection of four short films out of a multitude
and one chosen by the teacher, so the four films will
always be different depending on the person
(unless they use a short the teacher showed the
class).

3. WHAT I WILL DO (PLANNING)
• We have been told we will be doing a five minute
short film of our choice, we will upload multiple
things on the group blog regarding the film such as
props, scripts and casting.
In our exam classes, we will be recapping the
important aspects of filming we covered in AS, but
on a more complex level.

4. WHAT WE WILL DO (FILMING)
• After our planning has been completed, we will be
going out to our specified locations with a camera
to film.
During the duration of filming pictures will be taken
of us to be uploaded to our group blog, where the
film drafts and the final film itself will be uploaded
via YouTube and embedded.
