LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• To recognize the difference between wild animals and domesticated
animals.
• To recognize different habitats where animals live
• To practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing macro-skills.
WARM UP
• The teacher will give the students the badges with their names.
• The teacher will begin the class writing down the date and the name of the
unit on the board.
• The teacher will introduce the animals in the book by using flashcards. She
will ask them some questions: What are these? Do you have pets at home? What
animals do you like?
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.

Timing: 7 minutes.

DEVELOPMENT
First activity:
• The teacher will write on the board the page of the activity (page 52) on
which the students will listen to the audio about wild animals` descriptions.
• Once the students finish reading the descriptions, they will have to complete
the names of the animals in the boxes.
• The teacher will check the activity with the students by naming them and

Second activity:
• The teacher will write the number of activity (page 53) on the board.
• Students will have to work in pairs asking each other the provided questions
(bears) and then choose the correct option.
• The teacher will check the activity with the students altogether on the board.

• The teacher will write on the board the page of the activity (page 54) on
which the students will listen to the audio about wild animals` descriptions.
• The teacher will write on the board unknown vocabulary such as adjectives.
• Once the students finish reading the descriptions, they will number each
description with each image.
• The teacher will check the activity with the students by naming them.

5. Forth activity:
• The teacher will explain different habitats where wild animals live by using
flashcards.
• The students in pairs will have to complete five lists of different habitats with
