2. ANZAC Day
Anzac day is about remembering the
people who fought for their countries in
war. In Gallipoli thousands of people
died. We lay poppies to remember them
for being brave and strong for fighting for
their countries. Poppies were have
supposed to have grown were the dead
bodies lay. On the 25th of April we
celebrate the soldiers. It is called ANZAC
Day.
3. Memorial
All the classes make
poppies and place them on
a wreath we then sit
outside, and listen to
someone
play the bugle which is the
traditional instrument that
they used to start the day
and end the day.
At our school
NPS in 1916 a
memorial was
made to remember
the soldiers that
attended our
school every
remembrance day.
