2. INTRODUCTION
 Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company (Luberef) is one of
the world’s leading supplier of High Quality Base Oil
to all major oil companies operating in the kingdom
and for other international oil companies in different
regions .
 The first refinery was established in Jeddah in 1978.

3. QUALITY MANGEMENT TOOLS
 In maintenance department, they follow procedures as
part of the quality assurance system to maintain the
equipment's full efficiency .
 This system called RCM “ Reliability-Centered
Maintenance”.
 It contain components or sub programs such as FMEA,
TPM.

4. Failure Mode Effective analysis
(FMEA)
 Failure modes are equipment- and component-specific
failures that result in the functional failure of the
system or subsystem.
 Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is applied
to each system, subsystem, and component identified
in the boundary definition.

 The FMEA addresses each system function, all possible
failures, and the dominant failure modes associated
with each failure.

 maintenance departments have been responsible for
the working condition of equipment, as well as
developing maintenance programs. TPM, however,
requires all workers to be actively involved in
maintaining the company’s equipment. Employees are
trained to maintain the equipment they work with and
to look for ways to increase the overall equipment
efficiency (OEE), a combination of equipment
availability, performance, and production quality.
