1. Revenge
Narrative:
The opening of revenge begins with a motion tracking shot with open narration over the top
depicting the main character’s life up until this point. This then transitions to a flash back of
where It all went wrong. Being set in an underground poker game the main character seems
to be luckier than ever. This doesn’t go down well with the other players and starts a dispute
that ends up turning into a full blown argument. This ends in a Django Unchainedlike final
scene. After the smoke dies down the main character is standing there and and shoots the
camera to black.

Visual effects:
Visual effect1: The first effect I have chosen to use it placed at the very start and is a motion
tracking shot of the the main character’s life now and what he is living like at this moment in
time. This will involve still images and the tracking of different video elements.
Text: graphics
Visual effect 2: the freeze frame of the table flipping and using the the same type of visual
effect to achieve this.
Visual effect 3: bullets and blood splats.
Visual effect 4: smoke effects
Visual effect 5: cracked screen with bullet hole. This is effect will be used at the end
Purpose
The purpose of this production is to is for entertainment purposes. This will show multiple
visual effects that will spark interest in the audience and make them wonder how. My film
will also allow for the audience to discover a range of visual effects tat aren’t usually used
together and are seamlessly executed.
Legal ethical
When music is used within a production it must be lawfully obtained if not this could lead to
possible problems in the future. Also the use of characters and ideas can also be copyrighted
there fore I have carefully selected particular elements of my narrative and made sure it is
not copying any other production. Another thing that will need to be checked in the
production process is the use of brands and advertisement. This could be taken to court and
the production company could be fined for the use of brands. Finally, I will also have to be
care full of the use of weapons and not to use them in public without calling the police and
gaining the permission of the police before filming. This will prevent the wasting of police
time and potential armed force response. Ethically I will also be carful of the representation
of women and ethnic groups.
2. Target audience
Primary: 15- 25-year-old males socio-economic (class D) the primary audience is this age and
class because I wanted to make a short that my peers and people my age could watch.
Secondary: 26- 36-year-old males socio-economic (class C1) I chose this class and my
secondary class because they will have money to spend on watching my production.
