This document outlines a study to examine whether men are more attracted to a partner's appearance while women are more attracted to a partner's characteristics. The study will use both qualitative and quantitative methods. Participants will describe and rate their partner's appearance and characteristics to test the hypothesis. The procedure involves structuring a questionnaire, testing it, collecting and analyzing data, and making a report while ensuring ethics are followed by obtaining consent and keeping participants anonymous.

1. Characteristic vs. Appearance
Hypothesis:
Men are more attracted to the appearance of his partner or women while women are more
attracted to the characteristic of her partner or men.
Qualitative and Quantitative:
This survey will be both qualitative and quantitative.
Qualitative: In the questionnaire, the participants will be asked to describe both the
appearance and characteristic separately and minimum 3 and maximum 10
words to describe of his or her partner
Quantitative: As for the quantitative part, the participants will be asked to evaluate his or her
partner's appearance and characteristic separately from 1-5
