Reflection.2
1. Ploy Phataraprasit
19/05/2011
Senior Seminar Period 6
Mr. Clover
Reflection 2
During Art discussion, I was quietly listening to other talking actively. Though I did not mention any information during the discussion due to my self-confident lost during that moment, I have taken notes of the entire question just for clarification of what question we are focuses on during that moment. From this section of discussion, I have gain the knowledge of what is “Art” specifically, intent for us. As for music I have heard that it evoke aesthetic response and communication to the audiences. However the use of language in WOK is limited due to every word cannot be convey to the listener. As for music rhyme and rhythm is limited to the word, so every word is obviously, cannot be convey. The strength in this discussion is the fact that everything has different meaning to it and that every independent person has their own ways of communicating or thoughts of Art. Because art can be art of fighting, music, poem, painting, etc. there is variety of art in the world, and no one can mention all of it but summarize it all up in one go. However, one question that strike me the most is the ingredient of something that is needed to be art. Everyone mention about art needed skills and technique, when the other mention that art needed to have message that can convey to other. In my opinion I think that art needed both skills/technique, and message. Because as for me singing needed skills and technique to be sung, and every word is needed to be convey to the audiences. From this discussion however, I have come to understanding that everyone has their own opinion there is no right and no wrong as everyone opinion is a new insight of knowledge.
