1. Research method
Primary research= is your own research to found out more
information on the topic by either using focus groups, interviews,
questionnaires, surveys, observations.
A focus group is where a people discus ideas what can be improved
or like to add to a programme or a concert what make people have
they say or have your own option about the relevant discussion.
Advantages of an focus group is that you can put your own voice
across for your ideas and what you think that could be improve the
product what you’re talking about. Also, in focus groups the
moderator can make sure that everything is on track and doesn’t
lose focus what the end output and it make sure researches look up
and see if that people are copy the company ideas or not .
The disadvantages of being in focus group is that you might not get
the chance to get voice to be heard because of people might over
power their ideas over yours. Also, some people find talking about
sensitive topic so this would affect the output data. Plus, people
might disagree with your opinion so that would create conflict and
might put you off addressing your ideas across.
Questionnaires is a where you fill out a form what has question
what at the end they would collect all the information and us it to
creating statistics out of the data.
The advantages of a questionnaire are that you can create a large
mass of questionnaires in a sort space of time and you don’t have to
travel to the work placement for an interview.
2. The disadvantage of a questionnaire are that the data what you
revive back might not be reliable because people didn’t understand
the question or people would be lying on the questionnaire, also, it is
very time consuming to create the statistics with a large mass of data
coming in to the company .
Secondary research= involves the summary, collation and/or
separation of current research rather than primary research, where
data is collected from, for example, research subjects or tests. You
could use the internet, newspapers, going to the library.
This is archive search on the BBC website to help me to find the
information about the history of the BBC.
3. This information is from Wikipedia what I have interoperated into my
own understanding of all the information.
The advantage of using the internet for research is that there are
verities of website to search all they relative information, what is
very useful to interoperate into your own understanding of the
information.
