aware of their interests & personalities.
• Here they explain on the technologies they work on & have online courses for
the same.
• Different jobs, roles & responsibilities in their company & have online courses
to train the students
• Will have a virtual tour of their office premises & their functioning
• Have domain related courses, so that students can equip themselves with that
knowledge
• Have online chat help for students to interact with professionals on need basis
• Have student & professionals meet on regular basis so that they meet face to
face as well.
• Give short term career option for students to experience jobs of their liking.
• Have Professionals as mentors for students of this academy.
• Prototype of a website for a company’s online academy is
given in the next slide.
• All the aspects explained in the solution is incorporated.

• His feedback
– There could be profiles of professionals shown in the site, so that
student can choose whom to chat with
– A calendar of all students-professional meet can be given, instead of
only the next one. This would help students plan better.
– When personality tests are taken and students gets feedback on
suitable career, we can also list the options from short term jobs that
company can offer. This would help students apply for the right jobs
better than browsing through all jobs.

Problem Statement Anirudh, a young software professional, with 2 years of work experience, with a graduation in telecommunication; needs a way for pre-graduate students to experience different career streams briefly, for them to make a wise decision about their graduate courses because he feels students don’t have clarity on what careers will interest them eventually.

Most Practical Idea Company’s Online Academy • Every company can have their own online academy • Have analytical tests that students can take, the results will make students aware of their interests & personalities. • Here they explain on the technologies they work on & have online courses for the same. • Different jobs, roles & responsibilities in their company & have online courses to train the students • Will have a virtual tour of their office premises & their functioning • Have domain related courses, so that students can equip themselves with that knowledge • Have online chat help for students to interact with professionals on need basis • Have student & professionals meet on regular basis so that they meet face to face as well. • Give short term career option for students to experience jobs of their liking. • Have Professionals as mentors for students of this academy.

  • 5. • I spoke to Anirudh and explained the prototype • His feedback – There could be profiles of professionals shown in the site, so that student can choose whom to chat with – A calendar of all students-professional meet can be given, instead of only the next one. This would help students plan better. – When personality tests are taken and students gets feedback on suitable career, we can also list the options from short term jobs that company can offer.
