This document discusses the importance of rasa in Kathak dance.  Dance is universal movements of emotions , which we
perform through our body.
 These movements has aesthetics and symbolic
values.
 Dance is a Performing Art.
 Human beings are express their feelings or emotions
of joy with the rhythm or songs or on the tap of
Instruments.

3. KATHAK DANCE
Kathak is a prominent dance form
of Northern India.It has traversed a long
path from the temples of ancient days of
story-telling from to the Moughal courts
and there after has ascended the golden
ladder of success and is now an
amalgamation of ‘Nritta’,’Natya’ and
‘Nritya’.Keeping continuously apace
with the changing trends Kathak which
can be performed solo,duet as well as in
a group,has attained profound success
even what put to test and experiments.
