  1. We know companies are producing more content with the explosion of digital marketing strategies and social media trends. Almost everyone spends more time managing the operational details of content management and production compared to actually using the assets for marketing and branding. This means, more content being developed, more content requiring review. And speed to market is ESSENTIAL. As Lilly said, increased . . .
  2. DAM and interaction between the authoring, approval piece, distribution Most Commercial Content systems today look something like this diagram with: Duplication of content from multiple sources, both within the organization and externally with agencies Complex Approvals with disconnected processes slow approval times Regional Silos with no regional to local sharing. Local file storage at each site equals wasted spend on the recreation of materials Manual Distribution, Tracking, and Withdrawal where many companies have multiple content repositories both locally and regionally. This manual distribution & withdrawal puts the company at risk for retired or wrong content still being used in the field. The result is not good. Slow, risky, and complicated to manage. Significant cost implications.
  3. We are seeing three main drivers at the centerpoint of all digital transformation initiatives. Speed: Today, digital content is getting stacked on an already broken process. In some cases, businesses are capturing data and have digitized content, in other cases, some processes still rely on a labor-intensive paper-based process. Folders, spreadsheets and wet signatures can slow any process. Companies who transform the way they collaborate, review and distribute will become central to their ability to bring their product to market. Compliance: The challenge with compliance and consistency in chain of custody for materials grows exponentially with proliferation and complexity of content, partners and channels. We talked about some of the new regulations in the previous slide. Companies must be able to respond quickly and confidently to changes in the regulatory and legal environment, or risk heavy fines, competitive disadvantages and lawsuits. Error must be eliminated and compliance teams must be able to have full transparency into the activity surrounding the product lifecycle. Insight: Millions of dollars each year are wasted by companies not having full transparency into their business processes and activity. Companies understand that having actionable intelligence that extends across the product lifecycle and reaches cross-functionally as well as to partners and suppliers will be key in supporting the transformation required to maintain a competitive edge.
