Educational Qualification

Professional Experience
Working as Production engineer in shipbuilding industry having more than Seven years of
experience in vessel marine piping system fabrication, erection, testing & commissioning of
piping system along with marine machinery.
• Senior engineer in Bharati shipyard, ratnagiri (from January 2009 to present) = 7 year 3
month.

Job responsibilities
• Assist to preparing the production Schedule.
• Checking all the fabricated pipe by measurement & bringing about modification
accordingly.
• Prioritizing of fabrication of spool according to sequence of erection.
• Shop floor pressure testing of pipes.
• Supervise the process of pipe galvanizing and acid cleaning as per system requirement.
• Supervise the job for erection of pipe, valves, pumps, filter, heat exchanger, and varies
piping equipments of various piping system.
• Coordinate to taking the inter departmental clearance for the completion of work.

2. • Liaising & co-ordination with Quality control, Classification Society as well as with Owner
Re-presentatives for approval of installations undertaken.
• Assist to preparing the balance work list with time schedule.
• Before startup, Pre-commissioning checks as per drawing, cold check of piping and other
related equipment.
• Coordinate with service engineers to completions of various systems and final
commissioning.
• As per class requirement showing system operational performance to surveyor and
owner such as all the alarm, monitoring & safety functions and working of equipment as
per trial protocol.
• Proving the various piping systems prior to final sea trials.

• V355 and V356 - 120 Ton Bollard Pull Platform Supply Vessels for Bourbon.(Bharati
shipyard)
• V396 and V387 - 80 Ton Bollard Pull Platform Supply Vessels for SCI. (Bharati shipyard)
• V381 and V387 - Platform Supply Vessels for UP offshore, Bahamas . (Bharati shipyard)

• Looking after the underwater work of vessel.
• Completed systems related to main engine, auxiliary engine, compressor and fire
fighting etc.
• Testing and commissioning of Main Engine, Auxiliary Engine, and emergency generator.
And various pumps.
• Completed the testing and commissioning of starting air compressor.
• Completed system Biological Sewage treatment plant with hydrophore system.
• Testing and commissioning of Cargo pumps, Mud agitators, Sea water & Fresh water

• Assist for the commissioning of Central Air conditioning and Refrigeration plant.
