As General Manager-cum-Chief Engineer (Barauni Thermal Power Station):
Major Project:
This thermal Power Station have 2*110 MW which is called old Plant-const, unit 6&7.2*250MW under construction-
called New Plant
o Preparation of yearly Material budget; annual Cash budget, revised budget
o Take daily stock of progress of work by physically visiting site, through daily Co-ordination meeting, discussion
with working agency, officials, sub-ordinate official
o Unit No. 7 110 MW Unit was under R&M work at the time of taking over charge 2/12 while Unit No. 6 of 110MW
was under break down. Unit No. 6 made operation & achieved record generation in the month of February 2012, >
23 MU for the year 2011-12. Lowest Oil consumption 5.21ml/KWH, 17th March 2012 when the Unit put under
shut down for R&M work
o Unit No. 7 likely to commission by December 2013 & Unit No. 6 by March2014
o 2x250MW New Project
o Unique feature, plant work taken place on ash dyke 2nd in India after Ampara
o Soil investigation, topographical survey just started including DCPT, PLT, SPT, SRT. Levelling grading took place
o Most of Stone column, RCC pile completed

Major Project:
At Patna Transmission Circle maintained 24 Hours quality Electicity as such following steps taken:
o A new 132 KV D/C Transmission line between Fatuha-Katra-Gaighat was constructed, charged
&commissinened.2nos 132 KV, 6 No 33KV bays at Fatuha was constructed.
o A new132/33KV G/S/S with 132 KV Transmission Line Digha (Patna) 132/33 KV G/S/S katra were constructed,
charged &commissioned
o Capacity of Grid s/s –Khagaul, Fatuha, Gaighat, Jakanpur, and Masaurhi was increased. Construction of
220/132/33kv G/S/S Sipara was in final stage of commissioning
o 132/33KV G/S/S Katra was constructed &commissioned.
