Design Engineer:
· A proper team man as well as a strong hand of team lead to Coordinate with inter departments
i.e. Mechanical, Civil, C&I, Projects and Purchase during detail engineering.
· Attending meeting with clients and communication with them on regular basis for following up
of document approval. Communication of vendors and site for solving different issues for the
project.
· Preparation of Design Basis Report (DBR), Project BOM for all bought out items i.e,
Transformer, HT & LT Boards, Bus-ducts, power and control cable, cable tray & accessories,
grounding material & accessories, lighting fixtures & accessories, LPBS, DC System etc.
· Preparation of Key SLD and power distribution scheme.
· Preparation of Load List, Sizing calculation for Transformer, NGR as per standards and specific
requirement of client.
· Sizing calculation for HT and LT Power Cable, Preparation of Power & Control Cable Schedule.
· Illumination Calculation – manually & by using CGLUX, Lighting SLD.
· Sizing calculation for Battery & Battery Charger, SLD design for DC System.
· Grounding Calculation and Layout (equipment grounding and Ground-mat/Grid) Design.
· Lightning Protection Design Calculation.
· Checking of Electrical Layout such as Equipment Layout, Cable tray layout, Earthing, Lightning,
Illumination as per specification of client.
· Checking of Interconnection diagram (HT & LT Boards, Transformer, LPBS, Motor Feeder etc.).
· Checking of Vendor Document such as Motor, Transformer, LT and HT Power Cable, Control
cable, PMCC,MCC Power and Control Circuit, Battery and Battery charger etc.
2. Vendor Management:
· Technical Bid evaluation w.r.t. specification/DBR/PR.
· Preparation of technical specification as per client standards for vendors.
· Technical Comparative for different Vendor’s Technical offer.
· Checking/Review of Vendor document for electrical equipments, packaged equipments, like
Transformer, HT & LT Switchgear, MCC (Power and Control scheme), HT and LT Cables, Bus-duct,
Auxiliary Panels and DBs, VFD Panels, Cable Tray, Earthing and Lighting material etc.
Inspection:
· Inspection of MCC panels at Vendor works.
· Inspection of MLDB, LP and DB panels at Vendor works.
· Inspection of HT and LT Motors at Vendor works.
