SOCIAL MEDIA HAS BEEN
EXTREMELY POPULAR
LATELY
Since about 2002 when Social Media really hit it’s stride with
the launch of Friendster, it’s been a booming trend ever
since!
EVOLVING INTO
EVERYDAY LIFE
Most people nowadays depend on social networking sites for
their information on the corporate world.
Whether it’s from a friends status update or from a
business updating their “facebook; like page.”

A lot of people also do their shopping from those sites as
well.
Social Media is constantly influencing people lives daily!
LOW COST

It doesn’t cost much to create a Facebook like page or even a
Twitter account for your business!
Just think about it:
If you were to tweet about for instance a new item
coming out for your business; how many people that would
reach and think about how much money you just spent
typing that 140 character long message…NOTHING!
Completely free and think about how many people
 it reached!
WEBSITES ATTRACT
TRAFFIC
Websites!
The main reason for Social Media!
The internet is the most successful especially now that it’s
2013 and technology is so advanced that everybody spends
a majority of their time surfing the web!
ATTRACTIVE WEBSITES BRING IN THE TRAFFIC!
1. Hire Web Designer!
2. Make & have an attractive page!
3. BAM! New customers!
CONCLUSION
SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE FUTURE!
IT’S NOW!

Editor's Notes

  1. Talk about what social media is and give a little insight on how it will help the company. Explain how it came into the corporate world and what types of effects it had on other businesses. The main reason as to why it will be helpful to them.
  2. Again elaborate a little more specifically on each topic. How much more popular it’s becoming. How it’s evolving, how little it cost and how customers rather give their money to a business that have a facebook page rather than somebody who doesn’t have anything to show (branding), which ties into attractive websites that attract traffic.
  3. Go into details about the launch of Friendster and how successful it’s been. Talk about other companies that have had their breakthrough to as well. Like facebook, twitter, wordpress, myspace. etc
  4. Talk about how it’s evolving into everyday lives. How many people revolve their lives around social networking.
  5. Go into how cheap and easy it is to create a facebook like page and or twitter account! Only money spent is probably on hiring somebody to manage an update it for you.
  6. Go into how much effect a web site can have on a company. The better the website the more customers you’ll have coming to your company!
