How to Remove Document Management Hurdles with X-Docs?
How did you use new media technologies in
1.
2.
3. My blogger allowed
me to have an always
accessible way of
inputting any data, for
example videos, text,
images
My Blogger also
allowed my lecturer to
keep a detailed view
of my progress of
work
I found blogger the
most useful when I
created an online
survey, instead of
printing sheets, I just
embedded a
questionnaire and
asked my peers to
answer it from there.
4. Slideshare allowed
me to upload
presentations I
created on Microsoft
PowerPoint direct
from my computer,
from there I could
then acquire the
embed code then
place it to my
Blogger
5. I used Prezi to
create a stylized
version of a
presentation, due
to it being a
online, this
allowed my
lecturers and
pears at anytime.
6. Just like slideshare,
Scribd allowed me
to upload my word
documents direct
from my computer,
which then could be
presented to my
blogger by acquiring
the embed code
7. Through the help of
SurveyMonkey I was able
to create a free online
survey, which could be
analysed. This was
extremely helpful because
I did not have to print out
numerous copies of
questionnaires.
8. By using Microsoft Office
I was able to continue
working on my Blogger,
when I don’t have an
internet connection
Specific programs such as
Excel allowed me to create
a schedule for filming and
with Powerpoint I can
create slideshow such as
this on.
9. The two social media I
used are Facebook and
Twitter, along with
being able to share my
work to those Im
connected with to gain
feedback, it was also an
excellent means of
communicating with
my peers that are in my
film and contacting my
lecturer for advice.
10. Youtube has helped me, be able to present my work by uploading it and I
was then able to review my work from the views and ratings of my
trailer.
I was also able to get videos from youtube, to embed on my blogger to
show specifically what I want, for example my music choices for my
trailer.
I also watched videos from youtube to research the different types of
editing used in trailers for example I watched the Step Brothers Trailer

12. The IMAC and My PC are the systems I used
when I'm in lesson and at home, I used them for
nearly every phase of, from creating my aux
task to editing my film
I found that the IMAC can be rather
problematic as my peers found their macs
losing several work or not being able to find the
videos. I personally like working with a
Windows PC better because it is an OS I have
plenty of experience in and did not give me any
problems.
13. The Canon E06 60D was the
work horse of my trailer, it
allowed me to capture
photographs for my photo
shoot and record videos for
for trailer
14. I used Adobe Photoshop for mostly my magazine and poster, using this
program I was able to edit the photos I took from the photo shoot I did
and turn them to professional worthy magazine and poster
I also used Photoshop to create my company logo and the credits for my
trailer as I found that the built text manipulator for Premier Pro wasn’t
good enough.
15. No other programs has taken more time from than Premiere Pro, but it was
the most valuable as it allowed me to construct and record my trailer in a
very detailed manner. It has an array of effects and tools vital to creating my
trailer.
16.
17. The internet played a huge role overall in my
work, it allowed me to research different
conventions of comedy and types of shots used
in comedy film, allowed to post questionnaires
online that everyone could access. It allowed
me to view other trailer through YouTube.
