The NotifySync™ solution provides organizations of all sizes secure, real-time, wireless synchronization of email and PIM to and from any
BlackBerry®. NotifySync provides BlackBerry users secure, real-time, wireless synchronization of Email and PIM with their ActiveSync
Server. NotifySync1 provides direct connect support to several email platforms namely Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, Microsoft
Online - live@edu, BPOS and Office 365, Axigen Messaging, CommuniGate Pro, Google Sync, Novell (GroupWise) DataSync, Hotmail, IceWarp
Server, Ipswitch IMail Server, Kerio Connect, Open-Xchange, IBM Lotus Notes Traveler v8.5.2.1 ActiveSync server, Scalix, Zarafa and Zimbra
Collaboration Suite. In addition, NotifySync supports any BlackBerry device on all popular cellular voice and data networks as well as any
802.11x wireless network.
NotifySync creates a new email mailbox on your BlackBerry, while utilizing
the BlackBerry's native calendar, address book, and tasks applications which
makes it easy for BlackBerry users to transition to NotifySync. Additionally,
users have the ability to compose, reply, forward, or delete their email while
mobile. A variety of email attachment formats is supported as well. Email
folder synchronization, including sent, draft, and trash folders, are all config-
urable on the BlackBerry. The user can also configure the frequency at which
they receive messages and the synchronization date range, which serves to
control the quantity of messages kept on the BlackBerry. Support for accept-
ing or declining meeting invitations is also available, as well as remote access
to the organization's Global Address Book.
Users can also configure how messages are cleaned up on a daily, weekly, or
monthly basis. The NotifySync solution utilizes a "direct push" or "scheduled push" connection when connecting any BlackBerry to the user’s
email platform. With NotifySync all email, calendar, contact, and task information will be stored safely behind an organization's firewall
while all data-in-motion is encrypted utilizing SSL. Should a user lose their BlackBerry, a remote wipe can be initiated to ensure all infor-
mation on their BlackBerry is erased.
