The Pelicans is an American professional basketball team located in New Orleans, Louisiana, and

My basketball team and I were going head to head against Lamar Bruni Middle School for the

Basketball my 6th grade year was rough. It was my very first year ever playing sports. Since I went
to a small elementary school everyone made the team and I was the only 6th grade student that
joined I was so nervous the first practice my hands were shaking way faster than I could run. The

Since basketball shots can be taken from any body position, whether on the floor or in the air, there
is no one identifiable "right" stance beyond the need for balance when setting oneself to take the

and was really worried how my mother will react. When I told her she was furious, but at the same

My subject and person that I chose to perform this movement is Carolyn Gardner, 12–year–old
beginner basketball player in the sixth grade. She is on the junior varsity team and this is her first
time playing basketball on a team. This is her first time playing any team sport. Right now she is

Hello today I will talk about Basketball. I will specifically talk about the history of it, current, and
the legends of it. I hope by the end of this Basketball will be your favorite sport as it is mine.
The first subject I will talk about is the history of Basketball. Basketball was created by a man
named James Naismith in 1891. James was told to teach a P.E. class at the YMCA training school in
Springfield, Massachusetts. He was told to come up with a game to entertain the boys being coached
by him, the requirements were that it could be played indoors though due to the fact that is was

Basketball is one of the most popular which is beloved sports that is played today. Michael Jordan,
who played for the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls once said, "Just play, have fun, and

Beginning with a unique history, basketball has evolved over time from a simple idea into a

Massachusetts a physical education teacher, Dr. James Naismith, at a YMCA school created a game
where young men could play indoors aside from going outside in the freezing cold. To be prepared
for the game, Dr. Naismith came up with some rules for the game, gathered two peach baskets for
hoops, a soccer ball, and coached the first basketball game in history. Dr. Naismith came up with
thirteen rules. While four out of the thirteen rules that he came up with, are no longer followed in
today 's version of basketball, the nine that are left were slightly modified and are still in use today.

end of the game. That game was the best i have ever played compared to my other career high i had
