Unit 2
What do you like the most about this unit?
• I like the background the most because it looks very creative and it makes me feel warm
inside when looking at it
• I like the front page how there is no tint on it so you can look at all the photos in detail
• I like the 3rd page and how you wrote a short paragraph on what they mean to you and a
little background story of the actual photo
What’s the thing you dislike the most about this unit?
• The banner is not a very nice colour
• The tint in the background is ugly
What do you think I could have made better and how?
• Made the banner a softer colour such as pink or orange
• Made the tint a bit less mercy and clearer
Do you think that this is aimed at the lower middle class?
• Yes because the page layout isn’t too complex however it isn’t too simple
• Well I think that it is for everyone to look at because everyone has families so it makes a
personal connection
Do you think this sentence matches this unit” I wanted to make a connection with everyone so they
may be inspired to do the same as I have done maybe bringing everyone together making everyone
happy”
• Yes I do think you have done this because it applies to everyone and I think that it will make
people look at old photos and maybe bring back old memories
Task 3
This report is an overall conclusion on the research on my final product of unit 21 using the
questionnaires and the focus groups that I have help and constructed.
In my results I have seen a small pattern in the gender, age and working class that would look and
read my final piece.
As you can see I can the words highlighted are related and that they are all nearly the same and that
is that the people are all middle/lower middle class and that they all nearly said that it is targeted for
anyone and both genders. This was quite biased because they are all of the same social class and
they all may work/ watch the same tv programs, read the same paper etc. If was go8ing to take this

survey again I would ask more people and people of different classes. This will give me the best
possible chance of getting the most accurate target audience for my unit 21.
The thing that most surprised me the most is the target audience. I personally would of thought that
everyone would have said that it was mainly aimed at 30+ because that is the start of the family life
and I wanted people to do the same as well because I wanted to inspire people to copy what I did to
bring families closer and to make memories for everyone, but I think that it has exceled my
expectations because it applies to everyone and not just 30+ so now more people will be interested
in it.
