6 weeks/months project training from CMC Faridabad - Ppt of ccna project from cmc ltd.
1. Project: ISP with head office and
branch office communication
Presented by : Snehlata ( ECE )
2. TRAINING TECHNOLOGY : CCNA
The CCNA certification was the first course and exam in the Cisco
certification process, and the precursor to all current Cisco certifications.
Cisco is the king of routing, switching, and security, the Microsoft of the
internetworking world. The Cisco certifications reach beyond the popular
certifications, such as the CompTIA and Microsoft certifications, to
provide us an indispensable factor in understanding today’s network—
insight into the Cisco world of internetworking.
The CCNA program was created to provide a solid introduction not
only to the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS) and Cisco
hardware, but also to internetworking in general, making it helpful to you
in areas that are not exclusively Cisco’s. At this point in the certification
process, it’s not unrealistic that network managers—even those without
Cisco equipment—require Cisco certification for their job applicants.
3. Training Provided by : CMC Limited
CMC Limited a Tata Enterprise is a premier
information technology company with an
all India presence having ISO 9001-2000

7. Routers :- It is a networking device that connects
the different computer networks which are at
different geographical locations to forward the
data packets along with that network.
• These routers have fixed number of
ports.
• For e.g.: 700 , 800,900….. 2500 .Fixed
• These routers have upgrade slots &
no. of ports can be increased by
adding cards in the slots.
• For e.g.: 2600,2700,2800 …… 12000.
Modular
9. RIP ( Routing Information Protocol) :-
* A Standardized Distance Vector Protocol .
* It doesn’t determine time , it determine the no. of hopes
Version 1
Supports Classful IP
address.
Doesn’t send the subnet
mask information.
Doesn’t support any kind of
authentication.
Sends updates via broadcast
address ( 255.255.255.255).
Version 2
Supports Classless IP
address.
Sends the subnet mask
information.
It Supports any kind of
authentication.
Sends updates via multicast
address ( 224.0.0.9) .
10. o A protocol incorporating the features of both
Distance- Vector & Link State routing protocols .
o It uses Diffusing Update Algorithm (DUAL) to
determine the best path among all feasible paths.
o It is a Classless protocol & thus supports VLSMs.
o It has a maximum hope count of 255 .
o It is much like OSPF , builds three separate tables :-
1. Neighbor table
2. Topology table
3. Routing table
EIGRP(Enhanced Interior Gateway
Routing Protocol )
11. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) :-
A standard link state routing protocol , designed to
scale efficiently to support larger networks .
It employs a hierarchal network design using areas.
It uses Dijkestra Shortest Path Algorithm to
determine the shortest path .
OSPF process builds & maintains 3 separate tables :-
1) Neighbor table
2) Topology table
3) Routing table
OSPF has no hopes count limit .
15. ACL(Access Control List)
Access Control lists can be used for two
purpose on Cisco device:
i)To filter traffic
ii)To identify traffic
Access lists are set of rules, organized in a rule
table. Each rule in an access-list provides a
condition, either permit or deny .
When using an access-list to filter traffic, a permit
statement is used to “allow” traffic, while a deny
statement is used to “block” traffic.
16. TYPES OF ACL
STANDARD ACL:-
In standard access list we can block or permit
particular host as well as whole network.
It forwards filter packets on the basis of source
address only.
Types of standard ACL:
1)Number ACL-1 to 99
2)Name ACL
EXTENDED ACL:-
The extended number ACL are more
flexible as compare to the standard ACL.
Extended depends upon the source as
well as destination address.
Types of extended ACL:
1)Number Acl-100 to 199
2)Name ACl
