up a wide area just in front of the main playground of
our school (all together, parents, children and
teachers).
Then each class planted its
own (lettuces, green salad,
carrots, onions and more).
We took care of our garden
through the last months. Also
in cooperation with a non
govermental institution
letsgogreece.org we organized
an action and expanded

As an additional action to garden (and towards
sustainability) we re activated in 2016 a compost bin
(our second try).
We had an one day session with a non govermental
group on how when, what to put in and we activated
the bin we had.

Creating compost prooved to be a big
success.
Kids showed great interest and after just
one month we activated a second bin –
donated by the parents-.
In October our compost was ready to help
our garden grow!
And we are up to lots of more!
