1. – all of which, have sold out. However, despite the
success, Rhia has been given an option that can
change her life forever. She has received a contract
saying that she will be able to make millions in Los
Angeles, but to make this dream come true, Rhia
must become a solo artist. This means that Mike,
David and Emma won’t be able to carry on with their
music or at least keep high in the charts without
their lead singer.
‘At times like these, I wish my mum could help’
Rhia has till the 27th December 2014 to make her
final decision. If Rhia goes along with the contract,
Rhia will live in the luxury of Los Angeles, making
money every day and shopping till she drops. If Rhia
does not go along with the contract, Rhia and her
band may not last with their fame and glory and they
won’t be able to make as much as Rhia could.
‘Will you help me?’
On our website, we have set up a voting screen for
you to fill out - ‘Stay’ or ‘Away’. What do you think?
Should Rhia stay with her band? Or should she leave
to make millions? Hurry! The vote screen gets cut off
25th December 2014!

‘I never thought fame would be so
difficult!’
2. Lady P (Shannon Palser) finally tells Prime of Sound her experience to being top of the charts. Lady P started her career at the age of 14, writing songs with her best friend
Millie. It didn’t take much for her talent to be spotted as she became an internet sensation overnight with over 55,589,440 views of her own piano version of Lady
Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ playing in St Andrews Catholic School. After the fantastic video, Palser soon took on the adventure to becoming a very special guest over in LA,
on the famous US TV Show ‘The Ellen Show’ – where she got interviewed for the first time by the fabulous Ellen Degeneres.
Now, finally for the first time, and first issue to Prime of Sound, we are proud to present one of our favorite teenage singers – Lady P
Where’d you get your name?
“Well (laughs), it’s pretty obvious. I got it from my inspirational favorite woman – ‘Lady Gaga’. I owe her everything; her song is what got me to where I am today. She means
a lot to me. I even had the privilege of meeting her only last week! She is such an amazing person she told me “I am honored that you used my song to help give you a
kick, I write every song with purpose – and now I have a new one for that one”. She is incredible and I love her so much!”
What do you hope to do with your amazing voice?
“Well, I wouldn’t say amazing, I hope to get my grades first - my mum wants me to concentrate on my education first. I hope to after write a few songs and luckily get an
album. I just want to share my music with the world – (laughs) cheesy right?!”
How about your friend Millie, where does she stand with you?
“She is my best friend. She is like another sister to me – it would be a crime not to share her beloved talent to the world as well.”
It has been a crazy year for you hasn’t it?
“Yea! C-R-A-Z-Y! (Laughing) I started off to do that song in front of the entire school – Millie was actually the one to film it!! She wanted to show me how I did. She says she
had no idea how that video got online, but I like to think it was her!”
How does it feel to have 55,589,440 views – and growing?
“OMG! I didn’t realize that many! (Laughing) Bet you nearly half of the views are from my mum – and the other half from Millie!! It is mad! How is this possible? I feel so
happy that people took the time to watch it – as for me it felt it went on forever! Thank-you to everyone who watched and liked, you have no idea how good this
feels.”
3. You went on ‘The Ellen Show’, how did that come about and how did that feel?
“Well, I did this (Palser mimes an over exaggerated scream). I couldn’t believe it! She is such an amazing. She’s so nice
and sweet, it was just an honor. I mean when I think of fame, I didn’t think in a million years famous people would
spot me out! I loved the flight just thinking about Ellen. I was a dream come true, and to this day I can’t believe it.”
What does your family have to say about your success?
“Well, like I said, mum wants me to continue with my education – but she is super proud of me. My dad won’t ever
stop supporting me, he is showing my video to all the guys at work a thousand times – he says they’re probably
getting sick of it! And my sister goes out shopping with me – she believes that I need to keep up my experiences -
(laughing) which my boyfriend loves!!”
Did you always want to sing and get though like this?
“I always wanted to sing. I sung when I got ready for school, during lessons, on the bus, in the shower! But never in a
million years did I once think I’d be sitting here. I just imagined having a different job, but keeping my head up
with the singing – not expecting the fame!”
Finally, do you have any messages for all the fans out there, wanting to be you?
“Wanting to be me?! I think you should just be you! I am only here by luck - I am so lucky! Keep on trying! You never
know how your life will shape out, but your talent will be revealed soon. I’d also like to take the time to say thank-
you to all the fans for all the fan mail and presents! I will try to get back to as many people as possible – Thank-you
all deeply!”
