Illustrate & communicate original ideas & stories using digital tools & media-rich resources (1, 2) Each student will have a day to walk around with a camera taking pictures of the world through “their eyes” Students will then create a digital photo album & print out a book of these pictures Students will be able to add text & descriptions in the book if they choose

(1, 3, 4) Recycle bins will be placed in classrooms directly next to trash can Example & directions will be provided to students on to indicate what materials should go into which waste bin & why Paper (including plates & cups) Glass & Plastic Clean up in door & outside play area

Demonstrate safe & cooperative use of technology (5) Showing students proper ways to conduct searches using Google engine Visit websites that are considered safe & show how to decipher what is not considered a safe website Show students what a pop up window looks like & explain why we block pop up windows
6. Demonstrate the ability to navigate in virtual environments such as electronic books, simulation software, & websites (6) Provide academic computer programs Math Language Word & Art Skills Alphabet & Number computer games Help students realize how to take turns with these programs & work collaboratively with fellow students
