  4. 4. In a collaborative work group, use a variety of technologies to produce a digital presentation or product in a curriculum area. (1, 2, 6) <ul><li>In small groups students will work together using iMovie to make a video of all the field trips they took throughout the year. </li></ul><ul><li>The DVD will contain pictures and video clips taken of the class trips. </li></ul><ul><li>This will be a project students will be working on throughout the year in their small groups. </li></ul><ul><li>At the end of the year eah student will have a DVD of their second grade experiences. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Use simulations and graphical organizers to explore and depict patterns of growth such as the life cycles of plants and animals. (1, 3, 4) <ul><li>Start off this lesson watching a video on the life cycle of plants online. </li></ul><ul><li>Students can visit websites to learn more. One good site is Life Cycles: National Wildlife Federation </li></ul><ul><li>Using computer programs such as Adobe Illustrator students can make their own life cycle for plants and animals following a model given to them. </li></ul>
