This brief provides information to support school districts and stakeholders seeking to improve student diversity in their schools through voluntary, community-led programs as part of an overall effort to increase equity and excellence for all students. Diversity can include many factors, such as race, national origin, disability, socioeconomic status, and language proficiency. What follows is an action-oriented summary of considerations when embarking on efforts to increase student diversity, starting with possible steps to consider when conducting a diversity needs assessment and planning for implementation. Potential diversity strategies and a few examples from the field are included, as well as thoughts on efforts to sustain an inclusive environment once diversity strategies are being implemented.

One of the key challenges faced by the corporate universities today is how to maximize the outcome of learning at the same time minimize the investment (efforts). Todays learners are challenging the instructional designers and learning architects with the question “What does this learning program bring to the table that s/he can’t find in Google”. Conventional learning methods are failing to create impact on work performance Educationist across the world are trying to solve the problem, we draw inspiration from the field of K12 education and in particular the paper on “Integrated STEM Education through Project-Based Learning” by Diana Laboy-Rush and “Integrated Approach for Enhanced Teaching and Learning towards Richer Problem Solving Experience” by Sonia Zheleva, Toshko Zhelev. In this concept note we have tried to create a theoretical underpinning for Integrated Learning Design in a corporate environment. Ideas in this concept note are adaptations of various publically available knowledge in the space of “Integrated learning and assessment. This document would clearly outline 7 key design elements that needs to be considered for developing an Integrated learning solution.

Chapter 4 Conducting a Needs Assessment Knowing what is necessary is half the battle. Chapter Four Learning Objectives Readers will achieve the following learning objectives after reading Chapter Four. 1 Identify and describe the purpose of a needs assessment at it relates to knowledge development, skills acquisition, ability development, and performance improvement. 2 Define and describe the usefulness of a needs assessment required in designing a training program. 3 Identify and discuss the goals of a needs assessment. 4 Identify and describe the different types of needs assessments. 5 Examine and explain the range of uses and depth of coverage of a needs assessment. 6 Describe and compare the differences between a formal and informal needs assessment. 7 List and explain the different types of methods for collecting information. 8 Identify, describe, and explain the different types of questions to ask in the needs assessment information gathering stage of the needs assessment process. 9 Identify, describe, and explain the different circumstances that require a needs assessment or do not require a needs assessment. 10 Identify, describe, and sketch an example of a needs assessment information gathering process. 11 Identify, explain, and demonstrate how to present the results of a needs assessment using a model report and a model presentation format. A needs assessment can be organized systematically as a formal process or it can function as an informal process. A formal needs assessment requires a structured plan that serves as a blueprint to follow. An informal needs assess- ment adheres to a process as well, but the process is less structured. The ...

Week 6 Class Assessment: Implementation Plan for an HRD Learning Intervention Referencing the work that you did in Week 5 for the Needs Assessment and HRD Design Assignments, think about the implementation/delivery/facilitation approaches that you included in your lesson plan. Implementation is not covered until this week, but often when people are preparing a lesson plan, they include implementation methods. If you did not include implementation in your Week 5 work, no problem, you can add that information in now. You will state how you plan to carry out the actual HRD Learning Intervention. This might include information like, specific location, how each session of the program/intervention will be delivered (in-person, video, specific activities, resources needed, etc.). Once you add this information or if you included much of this information in your Week 5 assignment, move to the next step. Expand the Week 5 lesson plan by one column labeled Implementation Reasoning. In the cell next to each activity outlined in the lesson plan, label the implementation approach you choose and briefly explain why this approach works well for this activity or if you should consider an alternative approach. At the end, provide a paragraph regarding any pandemic-related influences on your implementation choices and how HRD implementation will be regarded in the future to obtain maximum effectiveness of HRD in your industry. Week 5 Content(1)- Needs Assessment Introduction Needs assessment is the process of identifying and articulating an organization's human resource development (HRD) needs. Needs assessment helps identify an organization's goals, reveals gaps between employee's skills and skills needed for effective job performance, identifies gaps between current skills and ones needed for future job performance and reveals the conditions under which the HRD activity will occur. Based on the video clips from the movie Office Space and the job description for a data analyst at Initech, I have conducted an HRD-focused needs assessment for the organization. The assessment includes findings for organizational, task, and person level needs. Organizational level: 1. Lack of effective communication: In the video clip "Did You Get the Memo?", it is evident that there is a lack of clear communication within the organization. The memo about TPS reports seems to be poorly distributed, leading to confusion among employees. 2. Motivation problems: The video clip "Motivation Problems" highlights the demotivated work environment at Initech. Employees seem disengaged and uninterested in their tasks, which may indicate a lack of motivation and job satisfaction. Task level: 1. Data analysis responsibilities: As per the job description for a data analyst, one of the key responsibilities is to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. This suggests that data analysts at Initech play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes through data analysis. 2..

In BC’s nearly-decade-old “new” curriculum, the curricular competencies describe the processes that students are expected to develop in areas of learning such as mathematics. They reflect the “Do” in the “Know-Do-Understand” model. Under the “Communicating” header falls the curricular competency “Explain and justify mathematical ideas and decisions.” Note that it contains two processes: “Explain mathematical ideas” and “Justify mathematical decisions.” I have broken it down into its separate parts in order to understand--or reveal--its meaning. The first part is commonplace in classrooms. By now, BC math teachers—and students—understand that “Explain mathematical ideas” means more than “Show your work.” Teachers consistently ask “What did you do?” and “How do you know?” This process is about retelling, not just of steps but of thinking. The second part happens less frequently. Think back to the last time that you observed a student make—a necessary precursor to justify—a mathematical decision. “Justify” is about defending. Like “explain,” it involves reasoning; unlike “explain,” it also involves opinion and debate. In order to reinterpret the curricular competency “Explain and justify mathematical ideas and decisions,” I will continue to take apart its constituent part “Justify mathematical decisions” and carefully examine the term “mathematical decisions.” What, exactly, is a “mathematical decision”? Below, I will categorize answers to this question. These categories, and the provided examples, may help to suggest new opportunities for students to justify.

A Transgenic animal is one that carries a foreign gene that has been deliberately inserted into its genome. The foreign gene are inserted into the germ line of the animal, so it can be transmitted to the progeny. Transgenic animals are animals that are genetically altered to have traits that mimic symptoms of specific human pathologies. They provide genetic model of various human disease which are important in understanding disease and development of new target.

God is a creative God Gen 1:1. All that He created was “good”, could also be translated “beautiful”. God created man in His own image Gen 1:27. Maths helps us discover the beauty that God has created in His world and, in turn, create beautiful designs to serve and enrich the lives of others.

This slide will show how to set domains for a field in odoo 17. Domain is mainly used to select records from the models. It is possible to limit the number of records shown in the field by applying domain to a field, i.e. add some conditions for selecting limited records.
