microbial testing

Microbiology and World Federation of Culture Collection in
2014.
Long term goals:
• Being a world class culture collection in 2025

- Has long term organizational sustainability: non individual-
dependent
- Works under limited capital resources (keeping isolates alive is
still expensive, self-support) and limited expertise (national

for access and benefit sharing from the utilization of
microbial resources in accordance with MOSSAIC
recommendation.

(workshop of Aspergillus and Penicillium in collaboraton
with Prof Rob sampson)
• Obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification
• Developing IPBCC as depository CC
Improving long term preservation facilities
• Developing bioinformatics system:
Contribute to the global catalogue of microorganism
• Maintaining international networking

22. CONCLUSION:
• IPBCC deals with microbial conservation ex-situ and
provides culture to the public for sustainable use
• IPBCC put an effort to work in condition consitent with
Internatioinal guideline for organizational management,
biodiversity, biosafety and biosecurity to support
environmental sustainability
• Within limited resource,
networking is foud to be a key solution
