It was my first class for Social Psychology (PSY C0103) module .For the first class ,
it was quite interesting . Our lecturer, Ms. Pang Chia Yee, even said that we were all
super quiet compared to the other classes.. As it was our first class, she briefly explained
to us about what is this module about, the lecturer rules , the presentations , the quizzes
and assignments. In this short lecturer we covered the topic for that day which was on
qualitative and quantitative research studies, how to set a hypothesis, data and
information collection techniques, how to analyse and make the final report . At that time
I felt sleepy because yesterday I didn't enough of sleep . After the short lecture , Ms Pang
gave us a very famous experiment which is “The Shyness Scale” by Cheek & Buss, 1981
which was to test our level of shyness , it was something like a survey , Ms Pang told us
if your score is lesser than 8, that means you are less shy than others and if your score is
higher than 20, you are more shy than others. To be frank ,this survey regain
consciousness me , this is because this survey was very interesting for me .At the end , I
calculated all my marks , I have got a score 7 . The conclusion in this survey is I'm not
easily to shy , I'm not satisfied with the result , this is because when I talking with a girl I
will easily to smirk for preventing the girl know I 'm shy when I talking with her .
From beginning , I thought this course is very boring and the lecturer is very strict ,
but when Ms Pang started her teaching , I felt surprised and happy .This is because her
teaching was very interesting and awesome . Hopefully I can try my best to get a
marvelous result and don't let this lecturer let down .
