Founders included Carl Laemmle and Pat Powers.
 Universal is mostly known for the Bourne series,The
Fastand Furious series,Ted, Universal Monsters
Cinematic Universe, The Chronicles of Riddick,Ride
Along Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Gladiator,
Jaws and many more.
 Universal Pictures is also well known for the many Horror films thatthey produce such as Dracula and
Frankenstein.
 Many of Universals Horror Films areold tales of monsters and others of such.However I think that if
Universal Pictures distributemy filmthey will find diversity in their already well-established Horror
Filmcollection.This is becausemy filmwould be aimed at young people and focus on supernatural
horror.
 I think that there is a gap in Universal Pictures portfolio;this is wherethey do not cover many Horrors
that are targeted to specifically youngpeople a lot.
I think that universal pictures would bea good distribution company compared to the rest of the
competition to distributemy film.I choseuniversal pictures becauseof this company is infamously known
for producingHorror Films. Universal isalso owned by Comcast which is a huge conglomerate. This means
that my filmwould have a higher chanceof success,this is becauseComcasthas many assets that they
have at their disposal.This means thatUniversal can distributemy filmwith ease also add certain assets to
my filmthat I wouldn’t have if Universal wasn’ta part of my distribution. Also one of the highestgrossing
Horror films of all timewas distributed by Universal.This is Jaws which has grossed jus tover $260 million.
This will obviously giveby filma head start in the filmbusiness.
