  6. 6. Problem Encountered• -Transporting the pipes to villages insidereserve forest area• Intake structure at Routraypur and RiserAssemblies at Tikiriapada were damaged byelephants• Height of the earthen embankment atRoutraypur was raised by the Forestdepartment with Madhyam’s facilitation
  7. 7. Suggestions• -Clear cut strategies need to be developed toensure optimal use of water availabilitythrough DBI structures
