compulsory at school level.
• Curriculum comprising Agricultural
Marketing, Trade & Prices should be
broadened a bit where people starting
new businesses and existing business
visionaries struggle more often.
• The subject of Entrepreneurship
Development & Business Communication
which was recently added in curriculum
should be focused more by having
interactions between students and Agri-
graduates turned entrepreneurs.
• Home Science which is also called as
Community Sciences should also
encourage some courses on Agricultural
Marketing.
• New entrepreneurial ventures should be
identified in various Agricultural Sciences
and there should be a Vocational
Counselling Cell within each college limits
for entrepreneurial development.
• The Placement cells should handle the
responsibility of exposing budding Agri-
graduates to entrepreneurship core and
should be indulged in entrepreneurial
ventures supporting activities and
handholding for few years.
• Information Technology aspect to be
strengthen in the curriculum and Agri-
graduates should be taught the
importance of Information Technology
usage in Agriculture such as business
marketing by means of Digital Marketing
23. Recommendations
• Innovation knowledge should be
promoted among Agri-graduates and the
phenomenon of awarding candidates
with suitable innovative ideas to be
endorsed in the Universities.
• The Success Stories of Agri-graduates
should be shared with budding Agri-
graduates by means of providing them
with literature of success stories, video
films and Face-to-Face interactions with
successful entrepreneurs.
• These stories should also be shared with
industry giants which can form a linkage
between them and Upcoming Agri-
graduates and may result in few fruitful
ventures in the near future.
•
• Languages should be given a special
attention and Hindi and English
languages must be made compulsory
throughout the country’s educational
limits in order to boost business
marketing capabilities of upcoming
entrepreneurs and should be included in
Fifth Deans Committee Report
curriculum.
• Importance should be given to banking
knowledge and filling up the financial
need of the upcoming graduates by
making them aware of the financial
policies of the country and processes
involved in retrieving loan facilities and
other important requirements.
