CPHQ : Detailed Content Outline

To become certified, each quality professional must pass the CPHQ examination. The
examination is available in computer-based format at assessment centres in the United States
and multiple international locations.
International certificates will receive an electronic certificate approximately 3–4 weeks after
scores are released. A printed certificate and a CPHQ pin can be purchased at www.cphq.org
The credential is valid from the time you receive your certificate through a 2-year period, which
begins on January 1 of the year following the date you pass the examination. Certified
professionals are entitled to use the designation “CPHQ” after their names.
Candidates who do not achieve a passing score or whose cycle of eligibility has expired must
submit a new application.
Certification

The Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) examination is
administered by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ),
which was founded in 1976.The NAHQ formed a Certificate Board
committee in 1981, and the certification program was launched in 1983.
NAHQ

The CPHQ exam is offered internationally four times during the year.
• March 11-24, 2018
• June 17-30, 2018
• September 16-29, 2018
• December 2-15,2018
International Examination : NAHQ

The CPHQ exam is offered four times a year in many international testing centers.
 Member Price: $445
 Non-member Price: $515
On January 1, 2019, the CPHQ exam price will increase to $473 for members and
$579 for non-members.

refundable.
