3. Overall Responsibilities
Project Management:
• Project Management and Co-ordination with all concerned from taking over from Client
up to Commissioning, Handing over and receiving Taking over Certificate from client.
• Identifying and defining the deliverables and work to produce them. Identifying and
defining the scope must describe what the project will include and what it will not
include, i.e. what is in and out of scope.
• Served as a focal point of the contact from project initiation to project completion.
• Providing feasible and appropriate solutions for the contract & execution issues.
• Attending Factory acceptance test of goods at factory and verifying the technical
parameters as per client requirement.
• Attending weekly, monthly & annual internal meeting along with management members,
external clients, consultants, subcontractors & suppliers.
• Reporting the site issues to client through official letters to obtain the support.
• Execution coordination with subcontractors and other internal agencies, including civil
works.
• Conducting periodical meeting with client, consultants, contractors and suppliers to
review the progress of the project, project safety requirements, material, inspection,
quality requirements, etc. and to resolve the issues.
• Co-ordination with Engineering department and suppliers in submission of Drawings,
calculations, method statements, FAT procedures and other technical documents
submission work for consultant/client approval in line with contract specifications and
technical requirements/comments.
• Arranging the client witness for testing & commissioning for all relevant equipments.
• Co-ordination with Site Project Engineers for Electrical Equipment installation activities
• Invoicing, work progress statements and payment follow-up with Client. Assist Project
Manager in cost and financial monitoring.
• Billing and certifying for all subcontractors invoices as per site progress in co-ordination
with Site Engineers.
• Manage resource requirement by identifying all the required resources for the project and
the availability of resources.
• Critical Monitoring for all site execution and taking necessary actions to speed up the
Project.
• Coordination with client and project team such as Civil, QA/QC, Safety and technical
Crew to achieve good progress with quality of work and zero loss.
• Discuss various risk elements and mitigation strategies involved in the project during
Team Review Meetings.
• Coordinating with client to obtain required permits for the specific activity at right time
to avoid the delay.
• Coordinating with insurance agency/company.
Procurement:

• Preparation of Project Specific Vendor list for the approval of the client.
• Preparation of Project Specific Procurement and Subcontract Procedure for approval of

4. • Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum
benefit for the company..
• Create RFQ for the materials and services, projects, departments, project materials,
consumables, fixed assets, equipment’s and sub contracts
• Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and
quality.
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier
referencing study.
• Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and
competitive data.
• Conducting price and commercial negotiation to optimize the purchases within the
budgeted amount.
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final
product.
• Releasing the purchase and work orders to suitable vendors/sub-contractors.
• Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings
targets.
• Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
• Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
• Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing
requirements.
• Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement
transactions.
• Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in

• Preparation of damage claim to the insurance agency and following up to get the claim
within stipulated time period.
Tendering:
• The initial review and summarizing the ITT and assist Management to decide Bid or No
Bid.
• Understand and Compiling of the Tender Responsibility Matrix.
• Attending the Site Visits & Tender Kick of Meetings.
• Compiling and managing the tender inputs.
• Coordination with Equipment Vendors and all subcontractors and evaluating their offers.
• Compiling the pricing spreadsheet to build up the cost base.
