• Enquiry Generation, Preparation of Techno- Commercial offer in line with the Customer specification,
Managing the inquires, i.e. planning for the entire inquires and then mapping the progress with respect
to Priorities.
• Heading the Tendering department & guiding a team of estimation engineers
• Review/prepare the specifications for enquiries, negotiating & finalizing major product orders with
vendors like Siemens, ABB, Schneider, L&T, Legrand, C&S, Hager, HPL, Havells, LS Energia, Tata Power,
SIEMENS, Reliance, ESSAR, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), National Thermal Power
Corporation (NTPC), Nuclear Power Corporation India Ltd. (NPCIL), Jindal, GE Energy, Airport
Authority of India, ALSTOM T & D India Ltd etc.
• Co-ordinate with Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers for enquiry related designs, technical
Clarifications, Deviations as per timeline defined in schedule.
• Involved in deep rooted R&D as well as direct interaction with customers to better understand their
requirements. Looking after different financial aspects like Costing of the transformers.
• Design Analysis of Distribution, Special, & Power Transformers from 160 kVA to 160 MVA, 220
KV.Transformers bid/proposal/quotation preparations in consultation with cross functional teams like
Engineering, Commercial, Supply chain management, Quality, Vendor etc up to 100 MVA, 220 KV.
• Intimate levels of customer interaction in a variety of capacities and Order Finalization by Techno
Commercial discussion , Provide techno commercial support to Front end sales team all over India from
early lead stage to order finalization.
• Co-ordination with consultants, Customers & Branch representatives for Pre-Tendering & Post-
tendering activities. Interaction with Consultants / customers for Specification, Drawing, Product
approval activities.
• Maintaining the operating RMC within cut off level with improved payment terms with better
profitability , Attending Techno- commercial meeting for order booking .
• Order re-view & Co-ordination with design for drawing preparation, Co-ordination with branch/
Customer for advance payment & Drawing approval. Obtaining manufacturing clearance.
• Market Share improvement & Product management as per latest market trend
