3. INTRODUCTION OF HANGING
BRIDGE
 The Kota hanging Bridge or Kota Cable
Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge under
construction in Kota.
 The bridge is situated on the Kota Bypass. It
crosses the Chambal River just outside the
city.
 Its carries 4 lane roadway , the of the bridge
is 1.5 km ,width 30 meters & 125 meters
(410ft)

4. ABOUT THE FUNDS
The project is being supported
by the National Highways
Authority of India (NHAI) .
 IN the project 2325 million
investment on the bridge and a
5-year-deadline.

5. NAME OF CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY
It was being constructed jointly by
Hyundai Engineering of South
Korea and Gammon India.
 This is just like “millau viduct” in
France the construction is almost
same.

6. NEED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
BRIDGE
 To improve traffic management
system.
 To reduce hindrance to traffic flow.
 By increase the volume of road,
chances of accidents get reduced hence it
will act as a life saving drug.

min.

THE initial setting is high than rapid harding
cement so it used in column & slab the initial
setting time is 30 min
