About your masterclass leader:
Colonel AK Sharma, Former Armoured Regiment Commander, Indian Armed Forces
A cavalry officer, Colonel Sharma commanded 74 Armoured Regiment and participated in Operation PARAKRAM.
A graduate of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, he has attended a number of instructional and technical
courses with distinction and holds a B Tech in ‘Electronics and Telecom Engineering’. He has held important instructional,
staff and command appointments during his career in the Army spanning 27 years, including command of a Battalion at
the prestigious Indian Military Academy. He was appointed the Dean of Faculty of Studies and Chief Instructor at the
Armoured Corps Centre and School, Ahmednagar. He founded the faculty to encourage and promote R&D and spirit
of innovation.
He left service in 2007 and started publishing ‘South Asia Defence & Strategic Review’, a bimonthly journal focussing on
military and security affairs in the region. He has edited and published a number of books on military matters and is an
independent defence analyst and consultant.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your attendance at an event and you are unable to send a
substitute, then we will refund/credit 50% of the due fee less a £50 administration charge, providing
that cancellation is made in writing and received at least 28 days prior to the start of the event.
Regretfully cancellation after this time cannot be accepted.
