• Do you offer consignment to Indie Artists?
At this time, we do not offer consignments listing on our online store to
individual artists of any size. We source all our products from official label
distributors/vendors or independent distributors.
• How often do marketing reps visit from the record labels?
We have a close relationship with many labels and have productive
communications with them. We have worked with labels invents at our
physical event space in NYC called Tower Labs and will continue to do so in
the future. We also work closely with labels when it comes to marketing/
promotional activities.

their Brick and Mortar store in
NYC; Tower Labs.

9. Exclusives
Record Store Day
• Tower Records does not offer any exclusive albums for Record Day.
• Per Clerk John- We do not qualify for or participate in Record Store Day. This
is focused on local independent record stores. We do not carry any titles that
are RSD exclusives. However, we normally carry RSD titles if they are given a
non-exclusive mainstream release after the initial exclusive release. This can
sometimes be 12 months after the initial RSD exclusive release.

11. Reflection
Tower Records
• Would you use this store for a local Indie Artist’s album release?
I highly recommend that my artist consider utilizing Tower Records' brick-and-
mortar location, Tower Labs, in Brooklyn, NY. Tower Records has a storied
history, having been in business since 1960, and has cultivated a large
following both online and in-store. Particularly during album releases or
exclusive events, Tower Records offers a lively atmosphere complete with a
Pop party, artist signings, exclusive merchandise, and complimentary swag
items. The artist and their team are afforded the opportunity to create a truly
unique experience.
