Unemployment is a major problem that has negative economic and social impacts. It is caused by factors like lack of capital investment, poverty, increased population, lack of education or skills matching jobs, and political instability. Unemployment leads to issues like decreased production and income, increased crime and health problems. Solutions include creating more job opportunities, encouraging entrepreneurship, expanding trade and industry, improving education, and attracting foreign investment. Governments aim to reduce unemployment but quick action is still needed to address this significant issue.

Graduates Unemployment- A Case of Jalgaon Cityiosrjce
This paper provides a broad overview of the employment situation among graduates which is a major
concern of government and their social partner throughout the region. In India, a stated objective of economic
policy planning is achievement of high rates of growth of the economy and sustained improvement in the
standards of living of people. However, despite impressive economic growth over the years, the situation on
employment front leaves much to be desired. Growing integration of our economy with the global economy has
increased the susceptibility of the economy to the vagaries of global economic forces.
In analyzing the situation, it needs proper understanding of the current situation of unemployment problem
faced by the country at large and also its consequences. With an object to understand the present situation of
unemployment faced by the graduates and also to understand the various causes and consequences of the same,
this research paper is presented as a case study of students of various faculties in Jalgaon City. The
methodology used for this paper is primary data. The research has covered various problems and issues of a
social issue – graduates’ unemployment which include many aspects like health issues which affect physically as
well as psychologically on students’ life, lower economic growth, increased rate of crimes, and suicide as the
last option after facing so many problems.
The document discusses education unemployment, which refers to unemployment among people with academic degrees. It notes that reasons for educated unemployment include issues with educational institutions, parental pressure, defective education systems, and lack of technical training. It also outlines types of unemployment, unemployment rates in India from 2005 to 2013, effects of educated unemployment like health issues and joining anti-social groups, and government efforts to reduce it through job schemes and improving education quality.
Unemployment Presentation By BGC Trust Universityনীল প্রজাপতি
This presentation summarizes information about unemployment presented to Mr. Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury by Group C. The presentation defines unemployment as when capable and willing workers cannot find work. It outlines the main types of unemployment including frictional, seasonal, structural, and cyclical unemployment. Causes of unemployment in developing countries discussed include insufficient development rates, rapid population growth, increasing university graduates, and backward agriculture. The effects of unemployment on the economy include increased financial costs, reduced spending power, and recession. Effects on society are increased mental health issues, health diseases, tension at home, crime, violence, and suicide. Unemployment rates in Bangladesh and several other countries are provided. The presentation concludes with fiscal and monetary
This document summarizes trends in US labor force participation rates since the 1960s. It finds that while the overall rate increased steadily until the late 1990s, this masked different trends among demographic groups. Women's participation rose dramatically until leveling off in the 1990s, while prime-age men's participation declined. This decline was largest for less educated men and correlated with changes in manufacturing jobs. Youth participation also fell as more remained in education. The aging of the population also contributed to slowing overall growth in labor force participation.
The document discusses different types of unemployment in India including seasonal unemployment, voluntary unemployment, frictional unemployment, cyclical unemployment, disguised unemployment, and reasons for unemployment such as rapid population growth, limited land, seasonal and backward agriculture, fragmentation of land, decline of cottage industries, defective education, and inadequate employment planning. Unemployment in India decreased from 5.2% in 2012 to 4.9% in 2013 but is projected to remain around 4.6% through 2020.

Implications Of The Youth Unemployment Trendbmack19
The document discusses the trend of rising youth unemployment in the United States since the 1940s and its implications. It notes that while youth unemployment increases during recessions, the overall rate has been trending upward. If this continues, it could have detrimental social and economic effects like lower wages, delayed milestones, and increased costs to social programs. Addressing the issue will require cooperation between public and private institutions.
The presentation deals with unemployment as a social problem. It discusses the meaning, various types, cause for unemployment, effect of unemployment and the solution to curtail this issue.
The document defines and describes 8 types of unemployment:
1) Frictional unemployment occurs during job transitions as workers search for new jobs.
2) Structural unemployment results when workers' skills do not match the skills employers need.
3) Cyclical unemployment increases when economic demand decreases and employers cut jobs.
4) Search unemployment is when workers continue searching for preferred jobs rather than accepting the first offer.
5) Regional unemployment impacts areas where dominant industries have declined.
6) Casual unemployment involves workers who choose not to work despite being able.
7) Technological unemployment arises when technology replaces human jobs.

It outlines the main types of unemployment including frictional, structural, cyclical, and seasonal unemployment. The causes of unemployment are then explained as factors like high population growth, lack of job opportunities, and slow industry development. The costs of unemployment are explored at both the individual level, such as financial hardship and health issues, and societal level, with lower overall production. Methods for measuring the unemployment rate are also presented. Finally, some potential solutions to reduce unemployment like encouraging small businesses and reorienting education policy are described.
This document discusses unemployment and globalization. It defines unemployment and the Philippine labor force. It identifies causes of unemployment like a weak education system and lack of job generating industries. The document also outlines actions the government takes to address unemployment like annual job fairs and training programs. Globalization is discussed, including its positive and negative effects. Characteristics of globalization include free interaction between countries in areas like politics, economics and culture. Coping with globalization requires considering factors such as protecting local industries and skilled workers.
Unemployment can take several forms, including demand deficient, structural, real wage, frictional, and voluntary unemployment. There are many causes of unemployment, such as being between jobs, being laid off, or quitting a previous position. High youth unemployment in Tunisia is due to a surge in the youth population combined with a lack of jobs and mismatch between education and market needs. Unemployment can lead to increased poverty, crime, substance abuse, and even suicide. Solutions proposed include improving education quality and practical skills training, encouraging rural development and industries, and rapid industrialization.
Unemployment refers to people who are willing and able to work but cannot find jobs. There are several types of unemployment, including voluntary unemployment where people choose not to work, and involuntary unemployment where people are unable to find work. Unemployment is measured by calculating the unemployment rate, which is the percentage of the labor force that is unemployed. High unemployment can have economic and social costs, such as lower economic output and increased government spending on unemployment benefits. Governments aim to manage unemployment through economic policies.
The document discusses different types of unemployment:
1) Natural rate of unemployment refers to unemployment that exists even during economic booms due to frictional and structural factors.
2) Cyclical unemployment fluctuates with the business cycle and refers to unemployment during recessions.
3) Frictional unemployment results from the time it takes for workers to find suitable jobs as worker and job characteristics change.
4) Structural unemployment occurs when there are insufficient jobs in certain sectors for all who want to work, such as due to minimum wages, unions, or efficiency wages above market levels.
Student Sandeep Sohal prepared a document on unemployment in the UK for his Advanced Communication Skills class with tutor Heather Vail. The document defines unemployment and discusses its history in the UK since the 1950s, including rising rates in recent years. It also examines types of unemployment, factors that cause unemployment, and recommendations for addressing it.
Unemployment occurs when people are without jobs and have actively looked for work within the past four weeks. Unemployment is higher in urban areas and among women and the educated. There are different types of unemployment including voluntary, involuntary, cyclic, disguised, sudden, structural, technological, seasonal, and frictional unemployment. Unemployment affects individuals through mental stress and loss of self-esteem and affects society through civil unrest. It also slows economic growth and banking revenues. Addressing unemployment requires promoting economic growth, employment-focused government initiatives, and improving skills through training.
The document discusses different types of unemployment including voluntary, involuntary, seasonal, structural, cyclical, technological, disguised, and hidden unemployment. It explains how unemployment is measured by comparing the labor force to the number of employed individuals. The relationship between inflation and unemployment is also examined through the Phillips Curve model, which shows an inverse relationship where rising wages/inflation leads to lower unemployment. Factors like structural changes, cost-push inflation, and government transfers can impact the Phillips Curve relationship over time.

Unemployment refers to willing workers who are physically and mentally able to work but cannot find jobs. It occurs when there is an imbalance between the number of available jobs and job seekers. There are several types of unemployment, including frictional, seasonal, cyclical, structural, and voluntary unemployment. High unemployment can negatively impact individuals through loss of income and self-esteem, and negatively impact the economy through lower tax revenues and GDP. Governments aim to reduce unemployment through demand-side policies like government spending and supply-side policies like job training programs.
UNEMPLOYMENT PROBLEM IN BANGLADESH PRESENTATION Synthia Ahamed
Unemployment is a major problem in Bangladesh, with an estimated 30 million unemployed people and the rate increasing by 3.7% annually. There are several types of unemployment, including involuntary, voluntary, and transient. Causes of unemployment include population growth, lack of investment, limited land for farming, and deficiencies in the education system. To address this issue, the document recommends establishing more factories and businesses to create jobs, providing vocational training programs, and encouraging self-employment opportunities to reduce the unemployment rate in Bangladesh.
The document summarizes the findings of a survey of 818 American workers about their views on the economy and unemployment. Key findings include:
1) American workers have a grim outlook on the economy and labor market, with most expecting continued recession or depression and high unemployment.
2) The recession has had a major financial impact on most Americans, especially the unemployed, with many taking on debt and making lifestyle changes.
3) Americans blame the recession and policies of former presidents Bush and Obama for high unemployment, but few blame the unemployed themselves.
4) Most Americans report that they, family, or friends have lost jobs in the past three years, showing the widespread impact of job losses.
There are several types of unemployment defined by their causes. Cyclical unemployment results from downturns in demand, while structural unemployment occurs when industries decline due to long-term market changes. Regional unemployment is structural unemployment that affects local areas. Other types include frictional unemployment during job transitions, seasonal unemployment in industries that operate seasonally, and classical unemployment which was formerly blamed on overly high wages. The natural rate of unemployment includes types that exist even in equilibrium markets. Labour immobility contributes to structural unemployment by preventing workers from moving between declining and growing industries.
This document discusses rural unemployment in India. It defines unemployment and outlines unemployment rates in various countries. Rural unemployment is defined as able-bodied persons willing to work being unable to find employment. The main types of unemployment discussed are seasonal, structural, and disguised unemployment. The document then examines the causes of rural unemployment in India, including rapid population growth, pressure on agricultural land, and poverty. Finally, the consequences of rural unemployment are mentioned, such as wastage of human resources and increased pressure on scarce resources.

About 30 of the some 50 countries that currently outlaw blasphemy, according to a 2014 Pew Research Center report, are majority Muslim. Beyond the expected theocracies like Saudi Arabia, this includes states with aspirations to democracy and modernity like Turkey, Malaysia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia, which is officially secular but home to a population that is about 87 percent Muslim.
The use of the charge ranges from the nominal to the horrifying. Since 2016, the Egyptian poet Fatima Naoot has been serving a three-year prison sentence for criticizing the slaughter of animals during Eid al-Fitr on Facebook. A Malaysian man was charged with blasphemy for posing questions to his religion teachers. Even the mere accusation of blasphemy poses the threat of violence:
Portland cement is a finely ground powder that is produced by burning and grinding a mixture of limestone and clay or limestone and shale. It was invented in 1824 by Joseph Aspdin and is composed mainly of calcium silicates. The manufacturing process involves mixing raw materials, burning them at high temperatures to produce clinker, and then grinding the clinker into a powder. There are two main processes - wet and dry - with dry being more common today. The cement is then stored and packaged for use in construction.
A cover letter provides additional information about a job applicant's skills and qualifications for a specific position. It typically accompanies the applicant's resume and contains three main parts: an introductory paragraph to gain the employer's interest, a body that highlights relevant academic and professional achievements to demonstrate how the applicant can benefit the company, and a concluding paragraph that motivates the employer to take action by scheduling an interview. The cover letter is a persuasive document that sells the applicant's abilities and qualifications for the job.
Data processing involves several key steps:
1) Data capture and collection
2) Data storage
3) Data conversion to a usable format
4) Data cleaning and validation
5) Data analysis including patterns, relationships, and groupings
There are different types of data processing including scientific, commercial, automatic/manual, batch, and real-time. The type used depends on factors like the data domain and needed speed and accuracy of analysis. Proper data processing is important for obtaining reliable results.
This document provides an overview of resumes, including what a resume is, what it can do, different types of resumes, resume format, tips, and an example. A resume is a written document that lists work experience, skills, and education to make a first impression on employers and highlight relevant facts about a job applicant. The main types of resumes are chronological, functional, and combinational. A standard resume format includes contact details, an objective statement, education history, work experience, and skills.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.
1. Unemployment
The rate of economic growth of any country determines its economic prosperity. There
are many factors which determines the economic development of any country like
industrialization, agriculture, population, employment etc., one of the major signal for
the economic growth is the rate of employment, as it has an adverse effect on the whole
economy. Whenever there is high degree of employment rate the production enhances
thereby improving the standard of livelihood (Anderson, 2006).
‘’Unemployment is like a headache or a high temperature -- unpleasant and exhausting
but not carrying in itself any explanation of its cause.’’
WILLIAM HENRY BEVERIDGE, Causes and Cures of Unemployment
The social and economic issues in community increases due to high rate of
unemployment in country.s. Economic complications result in low production of goods
and services, less distribution of income, loss of tax revenues, fall in GDP rate etc.

individuals financially and psychologically. The individuals are getting high stress
when they can not get their financial obligations which leads to problems like ill
health ,premature death, suicides etc. (Clark, 2003).
The economists narrate unemployment as a state of jobless within an economy.
Unemployment is absence of utilization of means and it eats up the yield of the
economy. It can be deduced that unemployment is inversely connected to productivity
of the economy. The history of unemployment is directly related to history of
industrialization. It leads to undesirable job losses and willing workers without job. It is
valuable to indicate here that not everyone who is out of work is seenas unemployed. A
person with a large property not searching a job is not included in the unemployed
population in that he is not keen to work in the first place, though he’s officially out of
work. As such unemployment refers to the ineffectiveness for willing workers to find
profitable employment. One of the major indicators of the economic health of the
country is the degree of unemployment. The influence is of high unemployment is seen
in the difficulty in finding mid level jobs. The fact is that minimum wage level jobs are
suitable but not considered as useful employment of the majority of the workforce
(Anderson, 2006).]
Unemployment is a worldwide curse. It is recognized as the mother of courtliness ills. It
encourages dishonesty, corruption and falsehood. It develops dark side of human
character. There are different causes of unemployment like poverty, over population,
in-effective education system and industrial development. Similarly there are various
steps to check this giant problem. No doubt the government is fully aware of this
problem but the quick remedies are needed to check this problem.
Causes of Unemployment
2. One of the major causes of unemployment is lack ofcapital. Capital is another name for
investment. It is imperative for an economy to be injected with foreign investment as it
also encourages the local investors to make the move. People are not motivated to
initiate a business whichresults in limited job opportunities. Another major cause of the
unemployment is the mindset of the people of Pakistan. Students always expect to do a
job after the completion of their education and they are never inclined to start their own
business. This is the reason people keep waiting for the job and are ultimately
discontented with their lives.
Poverty is the also the cause of this evil. Broadly speaking it is difficult to expect truth,
nobility and honesty from a person who cannot have two square meals a day. He loses
sense of self-dignity as he has no sense of security. He is worried about his survival
rather than morality. Therefore, poverty is a great danger to the state.
The increased population is also the cause of unemployment which leads to higher
unemployment rates. As the number of people who are looking for jobs is increasing, it
is more difficult to arrange jobs for all these huge numbers of workers. In this situation
the demand for work will be more than the available occupations. This will result in
increased number of unemployed individuals. An unemployment situation continues as
long as the demand-supply gap persists. This is very obvious in countries like China
and India..
The lack of education or skills for employment is also the cause of unemployment. This
happens when the qualifications of a person are not sufficient to meet his job
responsibilities. If the education was not directed towards the labour market then a
mismatch occurs thus leading to structural unemployment. These individuals face
difficulties in learning new skills applicable for the required job e.g. computer skills,
management and communication. As the need for skilled and educated workers
increase for employers, the employment opportunities for those without a college
education decrease leading to higher unemployment rate. (Morgan Drake Eckstein, nd)
Unemployment can be due to the rising cost. The rising cost makes it hard for the
companies to pay the usual optimum salary for the employees or even the minimum
wage in some cases. Hence, the employees reject low wage jobs and leave the
companies. Foe example if the price of petrol or electricity has increased this definitely
will affect the industries or factories which depend on these energy sources. Moreover,
sometimes companies need to cut down the budget due to an economic crisis, industrial
decline, company bankruptcy, or organizational restructuring, so the number of
employees is reduced or some positions are cancelled which increases the
unemployment rates.
The lack of political stability and proper political infrastructure also gives birth to
joblessness. Rapid changes in the governments and political instability surely create a
sense of insecurity for the foreign investors and the local investors as well. So, the
quick succession of the governments, with every government introducing new plans
and steps, reduces the chances of employment on permanent patterns.
3. Apart from the causes mentioned above, there are some occasional causes of
unemployment including bad harvest, floods, earthquakes, continuous rains, strikes and
revolutions etc. Discriminatory attitude towards the workers on the basis of race, sect,
colour, age and sex is also responsible for this cancer of unemployment. Keeping in
view the resources of the country, every government is trying to solve this problem in
its own way.
Effects of Unemployment
There are many obvious and well-documented social problems which are caused by
unemployment. Because of the increased spare time and stress there will be an increase
in the rates of alcoholism, drug abuse and domestic violence. Moreover, high
unemployment often results in increased marriage breakdown, divisions and
discrimination in society, suicide rates and crime rates especially among the young
(Garry Ottosen and Douglas Thompson, 1996).
Unemployment affects a personpsychologically too. Numerous studies have revealed a
relationship between unemployment and lack of self esteem and confidence leading to
depression. Besides, there is an increased anxiety and stress levels which lead to
psychosomatic diseases, personal worthlessness and powerlessness. In a study on the
“Influence of the Social Environment on Psychology” conducted in 1979 by Dr. M.
Brenner it was found that every 10% increase in the number of people unemployed on
average causes an increase of 1.2% in total mortality, a 1.7% increase in cardiovascular
disease, 1.3% more cirrhosis cases, 1.7% more suicides, 4.0% more arrests, and 0.8%
more assaults reported to the police. Furthermore, it has shown that long period of
unemployment can also reduce the life expectancy of workers by about 7 years (Alain
Anderson, Economics. Fourth Edition 2006)
Solution of Unemployment
The work force of any country usually makes up a large part of its population. In order
to cater to the needs of its people, all countries should ensure that they create many job
opportunities so that all the people who are eager to work, get the chance to do so.This
having been said the government should ensure that people are paid adequately for the
services which they provide so that at the end of the day, no person feels like he or she
is being over worked and paid less
Many of us would know that from a very young age, we are made to choose from very
specific job options. Most often than not, our parents encourage us from a very tender
age to become either doctors or lawyers or are encouraged to dream big.
4. It is for this very reason that from a very young age kids should be encouraged to
broaden their horizons. Not everyone needs to be a doctor, lawyer or a part of the
corporate jungle. There are plenty of lucrative opportunities available for individuals in
other fields as well.
It is rather unfortunate that so many able and capable people are unable to find jobs,
simply because there are not many opportunities available for them. Big and successful
companies nowadays simply want to hire the best of the best.No big corporate house is
willing to hire individuals who are unsure of what to do in a professional set up. Being
unemployed causes people to often feel sad as well as depressed, so if you have some
family member or friend who is unemployed ensure that you are there for this person in
their time of need and self doubt as well.
Moreover, sound economic planning, expansion of trade, industrial development,
better literacy rate, political stability, and foreign investment will also be greatly
helpful in solving the problem of unemployment. Briefly, man has conquered the seas
and market moon with his footsteps. Man has virtually harnessed the forces of nature to
his service. The man has reached the great heights of scientific progress. But in spite of
all this, he is literally powerless to combat the dragon of unemployment.
