The Youth Challenges are not new. Every generation has ways and means of overcoming their challenges. I would advise the youth not to give up as they will overcome. The decisions they will make through these challenges matters a lot. Learn from the adults around you and discuss with them what you are going through.
Seruds Orphanage for Girls and Orphanage for Boys were started in January 2012. We started with 5 children in 2012. Today we have 25 girls and 35 boys. The Children’s Homes are spread across 3 floors. The children are orphans, rescued street children found by volunteers, or come from very poor families or have single parents who cannot give them proper education and food. Our children call it their home. Indeed we work hard to make it so. After they have lost so much, they deserve all the security and love any normal home provides Orphanage has 2 desktop computers and 1 laptop. The children are given training in computer skills by a volunteer faculty.

education and transformations in transition(s) to adulthood in Ghana, Kenya, ...RECOUP
Adulthood is usually defined in terms of a series of markers: leaving school, starting a first job, leaving the parental home, forming a first union, marrying and having a first child, becoming a citizen. Such approaches draw on the idea that young people make one transition to what is locally agreed to be a clearly defined status—a destination at which one ‘arrives’. But globally, there is recognition that many of these markers are reversible and impermanent, so that there is no simple and clear notion of ‘youth’ in contrast to adulthood, and no notion of ‘arrival’ at a singular adulthood. Rather there are ‘fragile and reversible transitions’, negotiations and controls, and boundaries to cross before young men and women can take control of their lives as adults. Nevertheless, youth policy remains strongly influenced by the idea of linear transition, and the associated metaphor of individualised ‘pathways’ from school to work and adulthood.
In this paper we draw on data on social and human outcomes of schooling, collected under the aegis of the RECOUP programme of research, to consider the evidence on how schooling affects the nature of young men and women’s chances of gaining, for example: livelihood and enterprise; self- protection, security and equality; and agency, resilience and autonomy as adults in the RECOUP partner countries, and the implications for education and youth policy.
There is a need to be more conscious towards the women aspects, to balance the overly masculine,
intellectual approach to lines that is very much dominant. We have been closing our eyes the root cause of the
stresses faced by women. Today, most of the women are doing jobs. But women find it difficult to maintain
balance between work and family. In order for women to become successful and independent, they need to be
satisfied. Women like men have every right to feel secure, confident and happy and to be participate actively in

Women: Self Build Pillars of Individual, Family and CommunityPrafful Daga
The women are the soul of our community. They are the self build and self trained humans responsible for the morale development of their children, inspiration for the family and an example for the community to follow. Government/NGO/entrepreneur groups should work towards inspiring women community. And, such groups should help women community to make themselves more resourceful and culturally educated so that, they can pass on the same education to their children, family members and community. This will lay the strong framework for any society for the balanced and happy progress. But, this is not happening. Nowadays, women community is struggling in employment industry to compete with man. It is the competition that needs not to exist. In this paper we will evaluate various factors that provide the proof of importance of the woman as a best friend, best family manager, and inspiration for community and caretaker of morale values which are the irreplaceable framework of any developing community or country.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

10. Women in the workforce earning wages or a salary are
part of a modern phenomenon, one that developed at the
same time as the growth of paid employment for men; yet
women have been challenged by inequality in the
workforce.. Women's lack of access to higher education
had effectively excluded them from the practice of well-
paid and high status occupations. Entry of women into the
higher professions like law and medicine was delayed in
most countries due to women being denied entry to
universities and qualification for degrees.
The proportion of women in private sector companies is
24.5% of the total workforce compared to just 17.9% of
the public sector. In central government jobs, women
accounted for 7.6% in 1991, which, almost two decades
later, had touched just 10%.
11. Currently, sport for women represents a fast
growing changing element in Indian
culture, and recent trends have sparked a need
for knowledge about the female sport
participation. ‘Women in Sport’ has been a topic
virtually ignored by most scholars and thus
female sport participation has been a relatively
undeveloped area of research.
There has been lack of encouragement from the
parents and family members.
The traditional way of living was a big hurdle for
women taking part in games and sports.
There was lack of sports orientation of the
people living in the society. Taking part in
games and sports for women has not been
become a common phenomenon.
There had not been a good leadership among
physical education personnel and a proper
motivating system.
It has been clearly found that government
college women had expressed more constraints
compared to private college women.
12. It would seem like defining the independent
woman in 2013 would be as simple as just
describing a typical woman. A large
percentage of women are college educated
or on the track to higher degrees, looking for
employment, living in our own places. The
“happy homemaker” is becoming a hard
thing to come across in 2013. So what really
sets a woman apart as an independent
woman?
The true Ms. Independent isn’t necessarily
the high earning CEO of a fortune 500, she is
in fact a woman afraid. Regardless of all the
fears she may have, the true independent
woman throws her shoulders back tips her
head up and plows forward, not because
she’s accepted these things the world is
telling her but in spite of them.
Being an independent woman today is not
about self-sufficiency but instead is about
bravery. In a world that would seem more
accepting of the independent woman than it
was 50 years ago, there is so much

16. The true independent woman fears the judgement of a decision not to become a
homemaker, but decides that her happiness comes before society’s judging eye. She does
not accept the concept that she cannot be successful and still find love, commitment, and
support. The Independent woman of 2013 is the rare jewel who defines the female
counterculture, she is the woman who says if I want it all I will have it all, society be
damned. Whether or not you define yourself as an independent woman, you can take a page
from her book.
