Dr. Anju Ahuja gave a talk on gender sensitization. She discussed how India's constitution promotes gender equality but circumstances have not always been conducive. Women face challenges from old customs and traditions that confine them to household roles. Gender sensitization is needed because many men think they have more rights. Changes must start at home by sensitizing children from a young age and treating sons and daughters equally. Schools should also implement gender sensitization to address segregation and assumptions about gender roles. Collective action is needed to drive social change and create a gender balanced world.
Gender Equality is human right issue.when we are discriminating million of people on the basis of gender we are denying them basic dignity.so lets raise our voice against discrimination which is perpetual and glare at our face everyday weather we are at the Work place ,personal front or public.it is right there. Now it is your choice whether you face it,keep quiet about it due to the fear of backlash or voice your opinion against it.

We have failed to understand that sex education is not about having sex but more about creating awareness among our society that which is safe, and which is unsafe sex and so many other things. Being a parent have you taught your child what is good touch and what is bad touch and what are the biological changes that will occur to the child when they will grow up?
Gender Sensitization is urgent need of Society.Gender Sensitization is changing behaviour and instilling empathy into the views that we hold about our own and the other gender.
The presentation can help the teachers and Educators to promote Gender Sensitization in young minds.

Lung Cancer: Artificial Intelligence, Synergetics, Complex System Analysis, S...Oleg Kshivets
RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.
Acute scrotum is a general term referring to an emergency condition affecting the contents or the wall of the scrotum.
There are a number of conditions that present acutely, predominantly with pain and/or swelling
A careful and detailed history and examination, and in some cases, investigations allow differentiation between these diagnoses. A prompt diagnosis is essential as the patient may require urgent surgical intervention
Testicular torsion refers to twisting of the spermatic cord, causing ischaemia of the testicle.
Testicular torsion results from inadequate fixation of the testis to the tunica vaginalis producing ischemia from reduced arterial inflow and venous outflow obstruction.
The prevalence of testicular torsion in adult patients hospitalized with acute scrotal pain is approximately 25 to 50 percent

2 Case Reports of Gastric Ultrasound
The prostate is an exocrine gland of the male mammalian reproductive system
It is a walnut-sized gland that forms part of the male reproductive system and is located in front of the rectum and just below the urinary bladder
Function is to store and secrete a clear, slightly alkaline fluid that constitutes 10-30% of the volume of the seminal fluid that along with the spermatozoa, constitutes semen
A healthy human prostate measures (4cm-vertical, by 3cm-horizontal, 2cm ant-post ).
It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It has anterior, median, posterior and two lateral lobes
It’s work is regulated by androgens which are responsible for male sex characteristics
Generalised disease of the prostate due to hormonal derangement which leads to non malignant enlargement of the gland (increase in the number of epithelial cells and stromal tissue)to cause compression of the urethra leading to symptoms (LUTS

5. Unfortunately
many years ago & even now in many
parts of the country circumstances are
not as conducive for gender equality
as they should be.
6. PLIGHT OF WOMEN IN MANY PARTS OF
OUR COUNTRY
Women tied to
Old customs
Rituals
Traditions under the name of religion
that made her existence confined to
household work.
Age old practices made
Her life miserable
Instrument of abuse
7. India is struggling with
Gender Sensitization
because
in our country
Men think that they
have more rights
8. From the beginning they have seen their father
dominating the house in all decision making
Mother is invariably limited to the kitchen or
looking after the other needs of the family,.
The child grows up, thinking the same & whenever
there is some change, like men asked to do the
house hold work or anything which he feels he is
not supposed to do, then comes the ego.
Ego is the root cause of all problems like domestic
violence, harassment, Sexual abuse & Crime against
women.
9. WHAT ACTUALLY IS REQUIRED
To tackle the bias
We have to first look at the bringing up of our young men.
•Change in their mind set & outlook towards women.
•Their false sense of security for being born as male
member of the society,
•Their sense of entitlement & belief that they enjoy the
prerogative of assaulting women if they don’t respond
positively to their moves.
•They need to respect women as their fellow human beings.
• Only then will eve teasing be perceived as a crime rather than
element of fun.
YOUNGEST MINDS ARE EASIEST TO MOULD
10. On one side we are fighting to bring women at par
with men but we have no. of examples where women
themselves are responsible for oppression of women.
Forced by mother in law the daughter in law aborts a
girl child.
Killing Girl child for honor
Women torturing women for dowry.
Mother telling daughter to remain at home.
Women are obsessed with their sons.
We should make her financially independent rather
than readying her only for marriage.
WOMEN ALSO NEED GENDER SENSITIZATION
11. Parents should treat both their sons and
daughters as equal.
Only when children are sensitized from
an early age will it reflect back in our
society.
AT HOME
12. Other things to make home Gender sensitive
1. Start using language free of gender bias.
2. Change the way we look at gender roles .
3. Everyday do one work which you think is not
for your gender.
4. Raise children to be independent
irrespective of their gender.
5. Stand up for gender justice.
13. Boys & girls are segregated while sitting.
Heavier or hard games like Cricket are said to be
the domain of only males
Girls end up taking other subjects like dancing or
performing arts.
Gender sensitization right from schools is a correct
step in this direction.
For this we need teachers & the school
management to be gender sensitized.
IN SCHOOL
15. To curb crimes committed by
juveniles against women
The answer is Gender Sensitization.
This increase in crime. By against
women by the juveniles has made
supreme court to think about its
reasons.
Supreme Court findings
Nip the evil in the bud
16. INEQUALITY GETS LEARNT EQUALITY
NEEDS TEACHING
Lets Preact to reverse this.
We don’t have to fall back in the trap of gender related
Menaces & Crimes.
Work now to make our country safer for our children.
Only when children are sensitized from an early age
will it reflect back in our society.
Gender sensitization right from home and schools is
the correct step in this direction.
For this we need parents, teachers, school management
and employers also to be gender sensitized.
17. We have managed to penetrate
the remotest areas of our country
with education & its high time we
implement gender sensitization in
our education right away because
for our children the clock is
ticking.
18. Need for collective action
and shared Responsibility
for driving a
GENDER BALANCED WORLD
