CASO DOCTORA WEINSTEIN
This case report describes the orthodontic treatment of a 13-year-old female patient presenting with an open bite. After initial records and splint therapy, a new mounting revealed an open bite from the second molars bilaterally. The treatment plan involved four first bicuspid extractions, closure of extraction spaces, and intrusion of the upper molars using temporary anchorage devices. Over the course of 2 years, the open bite was corrected through space closure mechanics, intrusion of posterior teeth, and autorotation of the mandible. Careful case analysis and use of segmented models, extractions, and vertical control techniques resulted in a successful correction of the open bite.

Maxillary sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinus. Odontogenic causes represent nearly 30% of the etiology. Clinical and radiographic examinations are discussed together with treatment plan.
Oro-antral fistula is a rare complication of surgery at the posterior maxillary region. Several techniques for closure are presented. Additionally, information about sinus lift procedure is given.
4.tissue conditioning

At follow-up, the surgical site had healed well with no recurrence of the lesion.

SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF COMPLETE DENTURE PATIENT
The denture-wearing history should provide information on the age of existing dentures, the frequency of denture replacement, the patient's experiences and expectations. It is important to identify whether any previous dentures have been successful as it may be suitable to copy features from a previously successful set. It will be important to manage expectations for those patients with a history of denture intolerance, yet technically satisfactory prostheses.
Clinical examination
Clinical examination should fully evaluate both the patient's anatomy and previous dentures to anticipate challenges and the potential to improve upon retention, stability, support, appearance and/or other factors. This should be undertaken in a systematic manner and would typically involve assessment of anatomy followed by an assessment of any existing dentures. This should follow a diagnostic process to determine if the patient presents with:
Technically adequate dentures on a favourable tissue base
Technically adequate dentures on an unfavourable tissue base
Technically inadequate dentures on a favourable tissue base
Technically inadequate dentures on an unfavourable tissue base.
PRE PROSTHETIC FULL MOUTH PREPARATION

An evaluation of a periodontal plastic surgical procedure
This study evaluated a periodontal plastic surgical procedure to reconstruct lost or blunted interdental papillae in the maxillary anterior region for esthetic purposes. 19 patients with 39 open embrasures underwent surgery using a variant of the Beagle technique, which involved raising a partial thickness flap and folding it to obliterate the embrasure. Results found 51% of sites showed increased papilla contour after 24 weeks, with 38.46% almost completely obliterating the embrasure. However, some shrinkage occurred initially. The procedure was found to improve esthetics and maintain oral health, though combining it with bone or tissue grafting may further enhance results.

The study concluded that HT was preferred for its minimal discomfort, though ART was a good aesthetic alternative with a shorter procedure time and no change in bite opening.
