3. This photograph shows a group of children and a teacher doing a science experiment. I think that the children surrounding the adult, are most likely students. In other words, he is most likely their teacher. As I can see chemicals and a bottle, frequently used to store distilled water, the location is likely to be a chemistry lab.

4. I would assume that they are not handling any corrosive or harmful chemicals as none of them are wearing gloves. To add on, they are very close to one another, which is actually discouraged when conducting a experiment. Hence, it might be a small, safe experiment.

5. The teacher appears quite old, as I can see that he is balding and has some wrinkles on his face. I think that he must be quite eager to lead the experiment, as his students look very curious and enthusiastic. They are all crowding around him and might even be asking questions.

6. From the children’s expressions, I can infer that they are curiously watching the ‘experiment’. However some have troubled faces, and some, inquiring looks. Perhaps some have difficulty following. Indeed if they have not done their homework, they would feel lost during the lesson.

7. Last but not least, I think that experiments are the best way to learn about science. It gives us a chance to use our hands and make measurements. Such learning actually stays longer in our minds than classroom teaching. Thank you.
