Maria Stasolla, of ‘Mhats’ is a certified couture milliner. Her custom blocked
hats and hand rendered headpieces have been featured in Earnshaw’s, Brides Magazine,
Victoria Magazine and the fashion section of the New York Times. Her work has been
carried by Neiman Marcus (nationwide), Barneys New York, and numerous couture
boutiques across the U.S. Her work has also been represented by the Diana Burke Gallery
and children’s wear representative ‘Natalie and Friends’. Maria’s specialty is custom
bridal and she has designed headpieces for brides ranging from romantic and period
theme weddings to the traditional bride wearing a simple veil with blusher. Her current
rose headpieces are inspired by the advent and transformative qualities of Spring! Each
piece is carefully and lovingly crafted completely by hand. The underside and body of
each piece is designed and constructed with as much attention as the ‘Rose’ itself. As a
true couture milliner each stitch is artfully and carefully considered. This is Maria’s
