My Philosophy of Education
 Students must aim to advance in
higher levels of standards through
expanding knowledge and being able
to teach the next.
 My teaching styles, methods, and
techniques reflects on my students
progress.
 Students learn best when they are
disciplined, supported, motivated and
guided.
 Students must believe in themselves
and they will go further in life.
Classroom Rules
 Listen with your ears and close your
mouth
 Use walking feet in the classroom.
 Keep your hands, feet, and objects to
yourself.
 Clean up your center.
 Use inside voices.
 Say please and thank you.
 Say yes mam and no mam.
 Give respect
Attendance Policy
 To be late is to be late, to be on time
is to be late but to be early is to be on
time.
 Excellent attendance throughout the
school year is rewarded to students
who has an outstanding record of no
or less missing days.
 Students will only receive stickers and
the grade of their desire if only they
are participating within classroom
quizzes or pop corn questions along
with daily assignments
My Grading Scale
 Rubric Grades
 5-A
 4-B
 3-C
 2-D
 1-F
 If you earn 89 or above is a A. If you
earn 79 to 89 is a B. If you earn 69 to
79 is a C. If you earn a 59 to 69 is a D.
Anything below a 59 is an F.
Homework
 Worksheets or daily assignments can
be completed in class but if the
student does not finish their work,
then they can take it home for
homework but I expect the
assignments to be completed and
turned in the next day.
Re-do Policy
 If the student brings an incomplete
assignment the next day, they will
have until the end of the day to turn
the assignment in but it will be
counted as 10 points off.
 After the following day, zero stays in
my grade book if the assignment is
not turn in.
 If a student fails the test, the student
can retake the test but it will be a
different version of the original test.
If you are not listening
then you will have a hard
time.
