A Hlavay József Országos Környezettudományi és Műszaki Diákkonferenciát 2015. április 17-18 között 12. alkalommal rendezték meg Veszprémben, ahol két boronkays diákunk is elindult.
A „Saját kutatómunka bemutatása” kategóriában indult Boros Zsófi és Liebhardt Ági (10.G). A pontosan 10 perces előadás után 5 perces vitában kellett megvédeniök állításaikat. Zsófi és Ági nem csupán egy derűs, tartalmas és jól érthető előadást tartott „Fokhagyma a mini gyógyszergyár” címen az elmúlt évben végzett kutatómunkájáról, hanem a vitában fantasztikus biztonsággal és nagyon nagy szerénységgel bizonyították, hogy a témában elméletileg is és a gyakorlat szempontjából is otthonosan mozognak. A zsűri nagyon biztatva őket a kutatás folytatására a legjobbnak ítélte őket.

- 1. Student life in Boronkay School
- 2. Freshmen’ Camp This camp takes place before the school year. It is organised for the new students of our school. They have to take part in competitions and they get to know each other before the school starts. This programme is always fun and students enjoy it very much.
- 4. Freshmen Performances (inauguration day) In September we have a free day because the freshmen show their performances (they have to wear different costumes) and after it they have a competition. If they win, they become the best class in the first school year.
- 6. Prom In February the whole school is watching the school leavers’ performances. The classes make a funny performance and they dance eg. Waltz. After it they get a ribbon which symbolises they will finish their high school years soon.
- 8. Graduation At the end of the school year, the senior students graduate from high school. It is a very sad and moving ceremony for the students, the teachers, and for the families as well.
- 10. Students’ day After the final exams in May, we get a free day. On this day the 3rd year’s classes show us their dances and they have a competition, too. A lot of student think that this day is the best school day in the year.
