Marketing to Millennials and the Significant ROI They Can Bring Your FirmLarry Bodine
Marketing to the Millennials doesn't have to be mysterious. Law firms can no longer afford to overlook or avoid marketing to this often-misunderstood generation. There's real ROI tied to knowing this audience – and now you can discover how to understand and reach them.
Millennials surpassed Baby Boomers as America's largest generation in 2016. The easiest way for a law firm to fail is to NOT understand Millennials, NOT find ways to be relevant or engage to them, and NOT to adapt to their new expectations. They are the largest spending cohort in the US, and they are retaining attorneys.
"Law firms and marketers need to shift and adapt to this reality, instead of waiting for one that won't come true,” says Katie Elfering, a CEB Iconoculture consumer strategist and Forbes' resident expert on Millennials.
What you will discover
- How Millennials search for attorneys.
- How to appeal to this generation, now in their mid-30s and buying cars, homes and insurance.
- What Millennials care about.
- Creating brand messaging to appeal to Digital Natives.
- How today's generation makes purchase decisions.

Practical Ways Men Can Address Tech's Gender Imbalance | Startup Week Chattan...Very
Countless studies show companies with gender-diverse teams outperform those where women are underrepresented. If you aren’t investing in increasing diversity, you’re likely to lose out to competitors who are. And yet, women only hold 25% of computing jobs and 11% of executive roles in Silicon Valley.
This is a big, contentious problem, and we need the best minds—both men and women—to collaborate and work toward a solution. Since men hold the majority of leadership positions at all types of companies, men have an opportunity to make a real difference.
In this Startup Week Chattanooga event, Very's director of marketing Emily Maxie shares the stories of the men who have supported, challenged, and encouraged her so far in my career, and she gives no-nonsense tips for advocating for more gender equality in the workplace.

Crowdsourcing Week - Sean Moffitt Opening KeynoteSean Moffitt
Wikibrands' Managing Director Sean Moffitt provides opening keynote and remarks for the first-ever Crowdsourcing Week conference in Singapore (June'13)
In today’s world of social connectivity, top salespeople are using social media on the job to listen to prospects, gather intelligence, build and grow relationships and more, and it’s giving them an edge over the competition.
To keep things in perspective, sales and social business quotes can be inspirational. Social media quotes are a great source of content, and collectively they provide invaluable insight. Here’s a collection of the 50 most inspiring business quotes from the top social power influencers.
Social Media is not only helpful to businesses, it is an essential part of the marketing mix. Social Media should be like any other marketing program, set goals, monitor progress, measure results and adapt as needed. This was a presentation given to a National Printing Organization for Presidents and Business Owners.
This is an article and deck about the outlook for public relations and social media in 2018. It’s based on insight from my day job working at Ketchum.
12 months is an arbitrary period to measure change in a sector that is rapidly innovating in some areas such as artificial intelligence and digital media; but woefully slow in others such as diversity and ethics.
If there’s anything that I can do in my role at Ketchum to help your organisation address any of the issues highlighted, please let me know.
Creative director LBI Digital
As Chief Creative Officer at DigitasLBi International, Chris Clarke is responsible for the creative output of the network and its creative staff. Chris loves to stay close to the work, developing creative ideas with teams across the network for clients including Coca Cola, Sony Xperia and Etihad. Believability is his creative religion: he is permanently on a mission to bridge the gap between promise and proof for DigitasLBi’s clients, helping them to be true to the principles they espouse.
Like most people who’ve been doing this for a while, Chris stumbled into the digital industry in the late 90s. As a copywriter, he made it his mission to bring the craft of ideas to digital marketing, an ambition realised at pioneering Swedish digital advertising agency Abel & Baker and later at Wheel where he became Executive Creative Director. He was subsequently European Executive Creative Director at Modem Media, President and Executive Creative Director of Digitas UK and Chief Creative Officer of LBi.
Over the years, Chris has become a regular on the speaking circuit and has picked up awards at Cannes, D&AD, LIA, Campaign Digital, Campaign Direct, Revolution, BIMA and the Webbys.

For years the internet has been touted as an almost universal force for good. We hear of the “democratising” nature of a platform dedicated to openness and transparency. We have come to see the web as a place where ‘The Consumer is in Control”, and where information wants to be free. In this session, Chris will explore the darker side of the digital revolution, looking at the “winner takes all” business models, and downward pressure on quality caused by ad funded content. By understanding the dark side of the digital revolution, you will be better prepared to help your organisation stay relevant and fit for the digital future.

Social Media channels offer marketers a rich opportunity to really engage their customers like never before.
Sadly, customer engagement today has namely been oneway' with many marketers using Social Media as a Digital Megaphone to shout about their Brand and Products in the hope that someone will 'like' them and find their 'content' funny.
This presentation explores the challenges marketers face in effectively engaging todays digital natives, as well as the opportunities that Social Channels offer them in really being able to 'listen' to their customers and harness insights on what is influencing them so as to be able to craft content that is both contextual and relevant.

This paradigm shift has been digitally powered with todays buyers only one touch away from connecting with content or peers that can help guide them on their purchasing journey.
This presentation will explore the challenges that not only lay ahead for todays B2B marketers, but also explore some of the ways in which SAP is adapting to this 'New Reality’.

A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.

Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
