  8.4         Evaluating the creative process

Describe how you generated your initial ideas

I generated my ideas by brainstorming about what my target audience would want. I also got ideas from
my audience by getting a random sample of them to fill out a survey.




Why did you choose one particular idea to develop further?

Because I have always had a thing for fashion, almost like a passion and I thought that I could take my
ideas further because I have imagined putting on a fashion show before.




How successful were the research methods that you used?

I think the research methods I used were very useful and helpful. They helped me not only put on the
fashion show but helped me decide what themes would be within the fashion show.



What went well during the production process and what didn’t?

Went well                                            Did not go well

The performances and modelling went really well,     Models did not know of the running order before
everyone was on stage when they were supposed        the show so a quick list had to be made and put up
to be despite confusions with the running order.     in relevant places.


                                                     The show wasn’t consistent, there were some
                                                     pauses.

                If you were to do this project again, what changes would you make?

Honestly, I don’t think I would have changed anything apart from the way the tickets were sold and the
organisation of the running order.
