Cutover Execution – tapping email

❖ Resources are notified of tasks via “tapping email”.
❖ Tapping emails are sent from Cutover team shared mailbox.
❖ Tapping emails are sent to all resources executing a set of tasks. They must
reply to all when acknowledging tasks, issues, task updates and/or
completions. No other email chain should be used. This way cutover team we
can track easily status of all activities.
❖ When a task is completed, responsible must reply to tapping email with UID
and duration. Then next resource can start following task.
Reply example:
“UID 3411
complete, 11 hrs”

❖ For mocks and production, we have 1x daily status call during pre and
post-blackout.
❖ We have 3-4x daily status call during blackout.
❖ We also share a daily report by email.
❖ Status call diagrams and daily reports have use Cargill Global formats.
